No problems with any other game. Should I just uninstall and do a fresh install?

i had a game bug out due to wheel i had plugged in, something that game should have had nothing to do with.
but it caused my fps to tank the game world to bug out and not render draw distances go fubar and mirroring effects.
unplug any wierd usb, stop any wierd none essential software and tasks in task manager, try the game and try other games.
also windows been pushing updates and they really crap at giving a toss what the hell you are into when doing their thing.
might have been that?
good luck rule out all you can try other games rule out other junk.

Hit F9. Will also show FPS, etc in the upper left corner..
And Heat. If using OEM heatsink/fan, you may need to complete remove it to completely clear up any dust buildup. And check that the fans are running correctly. FPS drops to 2 FPS happens when heat threshold has been crossed, even just on one core, then it drops CPU to 800mhz to allow CPU to cooldown.

I had this problem a few months ago with a GTX760, then it got worse and my computer would eventually fully crash with no screen output. Putting in a GTX770 I was gifted awhile back solved the problem.

Download and run CPUID Hwmonitor while playing.
Did you have fun with the CPU heatsink ? Nephew was running one and he said he was clearing out the dust build up but there was still 1/4 inch that LOOKED like part of the heatsink but wasn't . As long as CPU is running cool, the above tool will also be able to tell if the CPU is dropping in speed or now.
Again, what is your running FPS? FPS would always be better on the Test Grounds due to no overhead loading the other 23 players and connection to game servers. At the moment with that video, it would appear to be running at a very low FPS
- If Windows is allowed to update drivers, esp GPU drivers, that can furbar things.
- Check Windows Update history to see what else has been installed.
- May try rolling Windows back an update.
- What GPU driver is installed? Uninstall and reinstall. Also, newest drivers are not always best. May need to do a uninstall and install an older driver. Check for when GPU was updated, may try to roll back the driver
- Running DX 11 or DX 9?
- Run the MWO Repair Toolkit and check everything. Reinstall can be done but I doubt it would resolve what appears to be a low/tanking FPS issue.
