How about to make quirks to all chassis or edit MG's like:
MG's have -75% damage,crit chance, chance to destroy weapons on assault mechs.
MG's have -50% damage,crit chance, chance to destroy weapons on heavy mechs.
MG's have -25% damage,crit chance, chance to destroy weapons on medium mechs.

Now where did bad machinegun touch you in your assault mech...
But now that we are at it could we have general quirk to all assault mechs:
-75% damage to light mechs.
-50% damage to heavy mechs.
-25% damage to medium mechs.
Usually this kind of bat **** crazy ideas come from bad players who cannot aim but you have been able to reach very high percentiles in the past so just wondering...

With this mg's still get his role , still crits, still can blow inner weapons etc.

Both are "tanks" with different thickness of ablative armor. 4 seconds what why what?
MGs role is to kill other mechs if you reduce 75% of it it doesn't work that well anymore, would you like AC20 doing only 5 dmg?

In mwo no any ricochets , this decreasing for mg like compensating this. Mwo are just basing on books storys/tecnical parts. This is not 1:1 and never been. Armor, quirks, shooting groups ( ppc+ gauss,etc.etc.) This is arcade and i want ppls enjoy game. Even with this nerf it be weapon to kill lights, meds, and still thing to blow inner weapons.

No, you want yourself to enjoy the game at the expense of the already weakest and least played weight class where mechs with larger machine gun numbers are still a minority within the minority group that Lights represent.

mg's can touch anything this is not 100% decreasing dmg. Its niche weapon to crit opened parts and weapons there, just take some weapons not only Mg's . Nice try to turn all in farce.

What's happening here is that too many pilots have been trained by years of dealing with weak @ss machine guns to ignore that little tink, tink, tink because it used to be irrelevant!
Those days are over!

They rolled out mg/hmg nerfs a patch or so ago. Both had their crit multi reduced to make them more damage dealers than crit farmers. That leaves lmg as the crit farming class.
What new nerfs are you talking about?
