I like to take prizes I would never buy. Probably the Kodiak. Bit of a meme mech, but it's not like it's costing me anything, and some memes can turn out fun or get buffed at some point.

I went with the Hellbringer VI. Id rather something I know Ill use vs saving money on something Ive barely considered.

If all you're considering is MC value, of course.
Which I def am lol. So I'll probably get the Rancor and cross it off the list. Won't have to save up that 8.4k MC.
And it's a pretty solid QP mech, lots of different loadouts for all that tonnage with some great wep mounts.

Huntsman PA with 8 SRM 6 is a blast.

I'm debating Warrant or La Malinche... how ever its spelt.

I have a ton of hero mechs so those are some of the only higher MC ones i'm missing that seem ok.

You know the biggest bummer is i have been saving MC to buy an Ultraviolet for the last 5 months or so and i just bought it about 2 weeks ago! Now i'm kicking myself for not saving it and buying the Katana why didn't i buy that little panther lol

I'm really not sure of an assault i'd like to try.. Maybe the Pretty baby or the supernova hero, Kodiak perhaps? I really don't know.. I really have the assault heroes i really liked and a couple not so much so it's going to be tough. Perhaps a heavy might be in order.


Anyone have any thoughts on the Ebon hero or a clan OMNI that stands out in the heavy range? I don't have many clan heros, i'm kinda all in on IS outside of a select few.

omnis are usually a good investment, even if you dont use the mech, you still can use the pods which are unobtanium otherwise. i recently bought a virago and was not disappointed.

The Rancor (8,440) and Cherbi (8,910) are also pretty high up there in MC value. It's kind of personal taste between which one to get though, they are very different mechs and I don't think the 500 MC price difference ($1 to 3 dollars) is a significant factor.

EBJ-EC does a few builds; UAC10+UAC20, 3UAC5, 4UAC2, and all of them are good but the 10/20 build is arguably the best. It is very good at its particular role, but if you don't like those builds, you won't really benefit from the bech.

EXE Cherbi would be my pick if you want omnimech with high MC value, but it's an assault that plays like a heavy. Make sure you actually like driving it though. It can feel a bit like driving a boat even though it's actually quite nimble for an assault. I think this is because the cockpit is so high off the ground.

the cherbi is ok only if you already do well with executioners. i find that's a mech not many players really understand how to play well and dismiss it as crap too easily and too soon.

I've already got a lot of heroes hanging around. Not sure what to pick. I'm toying with the idea of a Sleipnir or Knock-Out, but maybe one of the OmniHeroes would be a better choice?

Which 'Mech is that exactly? Couldn't find any mechs with "Hell" in the name that weren't clan and could mount snubs.

The BLR-1GHE Battlemaster "HellSlinger". One energy point in each arm, two in each side torso, triple missile in the left torso, AMS right torso. Engines run from 170 to 400 (stock is a 340 std), comes with double sinks and ferro armor.
