Event is great fun but we NEED more notice. Earlier in the week or at the very least 24 hours before. "Event in 3 hours" makes a lot of people miss out...

Definitely agree with Fission. A Wednesday or Thursday heads up would be nice. That way I can tell work to pound sand when asked to come in on the weekend. I need to shoot mechs!

Im enjoying this mode about 100000% more than glorious quickplay gamemode of die and go afk for 10 minutes until you get next match. Wish it woudl stay since FP is dead.

That is what i meant by waiting for 10 minutes, in matchmaking, not sittin on spectator

Great event drew alot of the crap out of quickplay,

Loving the 8v8 with respawn. Thank you it's fantastic. Each map plays very differently to quick play with little to no NASCAR rotation you normally see in quick play. Feels more like a battlefield with a front line, fighting on different parts of the same map, being able to push forward and withdrawing to regroup. It's a nice change from going to the same place everytime on a map and people going into a death spiral NASCAR.

The last events are weird. Considering that I have almost 400 mechs, I feel like I have quite a lot of them. I have at least 1 of most of the game's possible chassis variants. But what I don't have are 4 Dire Wolves or 4 Atlases. I only actually have 1 Atlas, because the chassis sucked for so long I sold all but the D-DC years ago.

Who came up with that? Did they even bother to check how many active players would be able to play such an event? I bet less than 20%, maybe even less than 10%, of the player base could even participate in these single-mech events.


Next weekend event, if you're going to make a stage of it exclusive to one mech, then it shouldn't have a drop deck. Or, the chosen mech should be required to be in the drop deck, but not be the only mech possible to use.

Yes. Anything to get the toxic af group drops of tryhards out of the queue the other 95% of the player base who are just casual players use. They ruin every match they're in for everyone else. You're either their meatshield while they farm, or you're chasing after them while they wolfpack the enemy into dust before you can even get there. The worst is when the mf-ers make calls on the public chat to make the team go in one direction, while they set up somewhere else through discord or whatever to farm the enemy, while the casuals gets run over.


Soup queue is imho the single worst thing PGI has ever done to this game. Casual players have no choice anymore. Either play with these toxic groups in the same queue, or don't play at all. Many of us are increasingly choosing to not play at all.

I don't even like watching streams of the game anymore, because so many of the streamers now, that's the only way they play. They load up a group with other skilled players and then pug stomp and try to pretend that's fun for anyone else but them. Lame af.

I've got just about 200. 5 Dire (giveaways for all the events) and 4 atlases. I've never sold mechs. And, I agree with you. At very least if PGI does an event like this, at the very least have a few trial mechs that can be used.
