I'm guessing they would make shields contingent on hand actuators and no weapon hardpoints present. Let's face it, there aren't many situations where not-gun is a better choice than gun.

From a standpoint of sheer looks, it has that in spades. Whoever handled that part of the concept did great. Not as certain about the rest.

1.) Most ppl never learn how to position themselves right, or who to find the right path to a target.
2.) Range play is the least effective in all games in my lib.
In any other game it takes a lot less effort to kill someonme onm a distance.

Brawling is something everybody without skill can do, once close enough.
This kills the range game when the brawlers dont even have to learn the maps anymore because they get in range for 4 tons.

Like here in the forums, ppl cry about erll play.
But basically everybody who does that, i can go tharack in game and spot running over open terrain against snipers they have seen shooting at them before. Dont Cry then....

Now they dont evne have to take a longer path to get to the snipers if this gets deployed on too many mechs.
They just go full braveheart and basically have 4 tons throway gimicks that carry them in.

If tanking weren't usually a suckers' bet and a sign that other things have gone wrong in the current state of MWO absolutely. I find that if you are tanking, 75 percent of the time it's because you became the speedbump or anticipated a blue push which may not have ever materialized.

At 50t and 64kph I am pretty sure this won't be dominant in stock. Minimum 29t of weapons and equip on a 50t doesn't leave a lot of wiggle for other stuff. Yen Lo Wang needed some serious quirks and minimum 82.6kph to hang with an AC20/SNPPC.

Some tinkering and it could end up doing something decently maybe. MRM40+SNPPC, shave right arm. If you Dragon Dab with the shield arm it might be good for rushdown. I'd trade 10 tubes for MASC in that scenario though were it even an option. Lean into the motif and give it a sword - no, a beam saber in right arm.

I hope so. The Bolt On's, that you can see, shoot at then then poof nothing were ******** enough. Good that almost nobody uses them anymore.

Given it would require Red cooperation in order to shine (shoot this thing here and not from my right side pls) I don't think OP is even in the cards.

Again I don't think your eagle eye blue pewpew crew is worried either way.

The color pallet is a bit rough. I feel like it would look better if it was a little more muted or if the yellow was swapped out for a cooler (color temp wise) color.

If I got it for some silly reason I might put Cobra Light Green or Mint Flake in place of the yellow, personal preference though. Also switch the blue to something a bit more saturated like the Escalation Sky Blue?

Something like a 50-75 percent speed tweak quirk, big armor quirks, and like a -50 percent range quirk with MASC ability, that'd be a fun concept. Make snipers scared again.

Closest thing in-game would be a Charger with a shield. Might have to drop from a light 400 to fit the shield though.

Nearly got a CGR for that reason, there's something intensely funny about blitzing some jackass playing pick-a-pixel and imagining him screaming "GET IT OFF ME GET IT OFF ME WHY DO THEY BURN THEY'RE RED LASERS"

Doesn't work out that way hence me not getting it.
