I hope so. The Bolt On's, that you can see, shoot at then then poof nothing were ******** enough. Good that almost nobody uses them anymore.

Brawling is something everybody without skill can do, once close enough.
This kills the range game when the brawlers dont even have to learn the maps anymore because they get in range for 4 tons.

Like here in the forums, ppl cry about erll play.
But basically everybody who does that, i can go tharack in game and spot running over open terrain against snipers they have seen shooting at them before. Dont Cry then....

Now they dont evne have to take a longer path to get to the snipers if this gets deployed on too many mechs.
They just go full braveheart and basically have 4 tons throway gimicks that carry them in.

I mean, you could always reposition.

Doesn't work out that way hence me not getting it.

With the buffs the 1A1 got this last patch it can put some serious hurt out in the right scenarios. It's MXPL levels of output without the heat concerns. Hilarious stuff.

and machine guns to the rear torso still works fine, yeah. The effectiveness is completely up to the pilot skill and situational awareness.

But the coolness... the coolness is built right in.

As to the paint scheme... that can be changed. All I'm hoping is that we can place a giant decal on that shield!

Ah, the exact thing the mech with the already perfect shield arm which is famously strapped for tonnage needs:

A 4 ton shield arm to eat all the shots which would have otherwise just missed anyway

I look forward to the next legendary Spider, with 6 more JJs than the 5V

Looks super fun to play!

My prediction is it will be pretty weak, 4 tons is a very steep price to pay on a 50 ton mech and Centurions aren't very strong to start with. But the concept is awesome and you can always buff it if needed.

Looks cool, but that arm will vanish in 1-2 secs in today's giga alpha game:(

132 points of armor and a giant target. In this mega alpha long range environment that shield will be gone in two alphas strikes from someone sitting 1k+ meters out. Cool idea and would probably work if the game hadn't been reduced to 90+ damage alphas from the next time zone.

TTK for a Mechwarrior game is shamefully, detrimentally, and embarrassingly short. Shields won't help. Looks cool though man! Paint looks awesome.
