A 4 ton shield arm to eat all the shots which would have otherwise just missed anyway

My prediction is it will be pretty weak, 4 tons is a very steep price to pay on a 50 ton mech and Centurions aren't very strong to start with. But the concept is awesome and you can always buff it if needed.

TTK for a Mechwarrior game is shamefully, detrimentally, and embarrassingly short. Shields won't help. Looks cool though man! Paint looks awesome.

It looks cool but I really don't know why it would be effective, pretty sure they can still tag the side of the Cent's head over the shield
From a looks standpoint this is another incredibly appealing LGD but it's going to be painful to run, which is honestly a shame. Again, the artist and modeler did a damn good job.

The power creep is already here, the problem is that this mech will not keep up with it. It sure as hell won't exacerbate it, but the power creep doesn't hardly care.

It's not a complaint my man. It's just stating facts. That shield will be a giant target for the alpha strike bros. It's a cool idea and a great looking mech. Dude did awesome making it. Sadly in this current envrionment it's toast.

HAG/BLC introduction was a poor decision at the time it was made and it's yet to be ameliorated sufficently, if it even can.
