It's not possible, sadly - they did testing, and it just took too long for groups to form. Function of player numbers combined with playing time demographics.

Hell yeah, Bull Shark is coming! First an IS OmniMech, and now this! It's great!

I think this is the most excited I've been for a new ’Mech ever. Even the Wolfhound IIC (well, WLF-C, but c'mon, we all know what it really is) didn't get me this excited.

Would I like more lights and mediums? Yeah, absolutely. But this wasn't even on my bingo card for the year, and now that it's coming, I can't stop thinking about it; much as I loved the Bull Shark in HBSTech, I didn't even consider it was an option! It absolutely would have been on my wishlist if I had!

I can't wait to play it! The Mako is the one I'm taking aim at playing the most. In the absence of a Thumper cannon, it's the closest thing to the original BSK-MAZ of the bunch! It's such a close match (two of the ERMLs are not in quite the right place, but that's fine) that I wonder if that was deliberate. It looks like a BSK-MAZ if it was built with full Clantech, rather than the inbetween-at-best tech the original version had.

There are some 'Mechs that I barely see in the game because they are almost as good, but not quite as good as other 'Mechs, even if they are quirked. Wasted developers' effort, essentially.

Cause in past, we got variant with both. A regular and a special pattern. This makes no sense.

I'm in the view of supporting that the Bullshark should have a 2 arty slots unlocked for free to compensate for the lack of a Thumper piece. At least the MW5 modders will add in the Thumper Cannon thought once they import it for that game, so it's no big deal if it doesn't make it on the mech for MWO.

I haven't really, looked at the Rifleman IIC to tell you the truth. So I don't know for sure.
