Last first... the forum's search function has been down for years. It is not expected to come back.

One time global unlock can mean many things, depending on what the thing is having a one time global unlock... so for example, say you were getting a camoflague pattern that has a one time global unlock for all of the mechs in a mech pack, like TSP pack, as a bonus or feature earned for purchasing ... then that likely means you're getting that pattern on all the types of mechs in that pack, e.g. if there's a TSP skin you got, it would be on the four mech types in the pack. I don't know actually what the case you're talking about is, so it's hard to say. A global unlock might be also something like, gain the mountain line skin on a "global" unlock, I might interpret that to mean all mechs would have mountain line skin unlocked for camoflague. Again though, I don't know where you saw global unlock advertised/context.

Hi and Thank you for helping.

Thanks for letting me know about the search issue.

Yes for this example i was looking at the TSP, I see (One time global unlock *) everywhere , but i don't see the explanation of the ( * ) asterisk ? That usually links to an explanation somewhere, what does this refer to ?

Also i have a question about the mech's , what's the loadout/config ? for example what does the (M) mean on the BKL-M(TSP) + MechBay Mech ?

I Haven't picked up this game in a very long time and i thought there used to be an explanation of the mech's in each pack.

Thank you in advance

You skipped right past the *Info: It's on the very Top of the Page:

And one-time global unlock means that this will only be activated once per account, even if you buy multiple TSPs.
The stats and loadout info can be found in our trusty MechDB

A warm welcome to MWO!

1. I usually search Google for MWO threads, something like this: (the MWO forum search is very inefficient; go figure)

Quote

mwo great badge thread

2. Buying multiple TSP packs allow you to stack mechs, MC, GSP, Premium Time, CBills, special cockpit items, mech bays.

One cannot stack the TSP Bonus +10% CBills until 30-April-2026 @23:59pm UTC Time
One cannot stack the decals, badge and title obviously.

3. For the TSP Special Variants mentioned, you can check these out at MechDB 2.0 >> [Browse] >> [Mechs]
https://mwomercs.com/packages/tsp-2025

Please note that the TSP Summoner variant should be SMN-P(TSP)

4. As for what's changed, you can browse the posting as below... ;)

Thank you all for all your responses, and all the extra homework i now have with all the reading :-)

I haven't been back here in a while, but its great to know that the community is still right there ready to help.

Thank you w0qj for that searching idea, and all the links.

Yes Ekson Valdez, i missed that, the askeris (*) is clearly on the left, that's what i was looking for.

Question on the configs:
on the Main TSP ad page, for example the BKL-M(TSP) is written that way .. but the Mechdb site its written BKL-MTS(P) <-- I'm guessing that's a typo ?

Here is also a question that relates to the letters:
C i think is Champion
H is hero
M ?
A ?
B ?
C ?
G ?
P ?
I ?
Prime ?
there are prob more ?
What do all the other letters mean ( finally getting to the question ) do the letters relate to a characteristic / strength / weapon load out / Quirk focus ? of that or those mechs ?

Thank you all again

MechDB has some small typos.

The letters in brackets designate Mechpack such 'Mech was originally in, and some other things such as Champion 'Mechs, Loyalty 'Mechs and so on. For example ON1-IIC(O) shows that the 'Mech was bought as a part of the "Origins IIC" pack. It would be pointless to list all of them. Those letters have no influence on the gameplay.

Plain letters such as ON1-M, WHM-6L or ARC-2S just designate a variant, nothing more. They also have no effect on the gameplay, since any player can customize his 'Mech as he sees fit, regardless what loadout such 'Mech had originally.

Welcome to the wacky MWO world of A's B's C's!

First off, the "Prime" is just the name of a Clan variant. Being a "Prime" variant by itself does not give you any addition bonus (see below).

Mech bonuses:

(T) - Trial mechs, fully skilled, you can try for free. No bonuses. Good for new players or returning players to try things out with.

(C) - Champion mechs give you bonus +15% CBills and +15% XP ! Purchasable with MC.

(For the lowdown of below special mechs, see the detailed explanations below).
These will give bonus +30% CBills. Purchasable with real world $$ mostly. Hero_Mechs purchasable with MC.
(S)/(LGD)/(L)/(I)/( R)/(O)/(P)/(TSP)/(CS) / Hero_Mech
(Special Variant, Legendary Mech, Loyalty, Invasion, Resistance, Origin/Otomo, Platinum, Tournament_Supporter_Pack, CompetitionS_award_mech respectively)

No longer available; gives bonus +30% CBills: (Founder, Gold, Holiday, NCIX promotion respectively)
(F)/(G)/(H)/(NCIX)
Also no longer available: (P) Phoenix Mechs

For example, look at the Timber Wolf:
(Search for Timber Wolf here: https://mwo.nav-alpha.com/mechs )

TBR-C: standard varaint with no bonus

TBR-C(C): Champion mech with bonus +15% CBills and +15% XP

TBR-Prime: standard varaint with no bonus. This is not a Hero mech.

TBR-Prime(I): Special Variant with bonus +30% CBills

TBR-Prime(G): Gold Special Variant with bonus +30% CBills, no longer available

TBR-BH: standard varaint with no bonus

TBR-BH(S): Special Variant with bonus +30% CBills

TBR-S(P): Platinum Variant with bonus +30% CBills

TBR-S(CS): MWO Comp reward mech, with bonus +30% CBills

TBR-A(S): Special Variant with bonus +30% CBills, given out for free, no longer available

TBR-H(LGD): Legendary Mech, $$ purchasable, with bonus +30% CBills, and Legendary Mini-Battle Pass bonuses!
https://mwomercs.com/legends

TBR-H: Hero mech version of TBR-H(LGD), purchasable with MC, made available about half year after TBR-H(LGD) came out

TBR-WAR: Hero mech Timber Wolf Warrant with bonus +30% CBills, purchasable with MC
