What kind of plans are there to display founders tags in-game? Will they appear on the mech, on the score window, or what?

are there any plans for in battle tags for mechs and operators. It would be nice to know which mechs are on your teams and to be able to track your platoons mates while in game. Maybe different tag colors on the mini map for the platoon mates.

[Challenge] When will there be Voice Comms in the game? Without this crucial element, the game will be hugely lacking in coordinated lance/squad warfare. Many religiously get tired of the pugstar behavior when there is no voice or coordination. See how BF3 has already started declining in daily user counts, I've been among those to stop playing such FPS games. Please tell us this key component is actively being worked and will be in the game soon.

Is anything going to be/already been done to balance the AC/2 so it will be worth the weight (RoF, range)?
Will it have rocking effects on the target?
Will any of the AC's jam if enough damage is sustained to that location, i.e. will any weapon be affected by receiving damage besides being blown off and aim recticle sway? If so, then what effects will the damage cause?

Without any pilot/mech proficiencies earned in game (using standard zoom and such) is one able to see a target mech at the largest possible weapon range, disregarding terrain and radar detection?

Furthermore, I would suggest that weather could/ should have a more significant impact in the game experience. I.e: rain could help your 'Mech heat dissipation or acid rain could actually do the opposite. Similar for snow. Strong wind could generate dust in desert-type maps, hindering visibility.

The possibility of a change in the weather during a match could be interesting too without having to make it totally changeable so that you could have spring, summer and winter within five minutes as we do in Ireland! There could be a probability of a change happening during the match with the exact timing being random too. An electronic device could help those 'Mechs carrying it to forecast and if the consequences are significant enough, this could affect a team's tactics.

Will the Banshee 3E be able to mount weapons on it's arms since there isn't a given hardpoint system there?

No - the CryEngine doesn't take well to multiple views being displayed at the same time

Banshee is not an announced mech, but even if it makes it into the game there will likely not be a hardpoint where no weapon exists on the variant (mechlab videos shown thus far indicate this, at least).

Not at launch, but the Devs will look into it after that. For now, use TeamSpeak / Vent / Mumble or whatever you and your friends like for coordinating gameplay.

It would be nice if you provided each month as a code for free premium time that we could use at any time. The veteran would recieve one code they could use anytime they had a lot of free time, the elite two, and the legendary would get three such codes.

Russ has said, so far, that the time will begin at start of open beta. There were previous requests made to have that delayed for people who might not be around at that time to use their premium accounts, and it was said to be under consideration.

Yes, the Devs have stated that some form of balancing will be in the match making system. As for where it is currently in Beta, we cannot say :)

This is incorrect. Founders injection (when we get our mechs and money) is August 7th. That is still closed beta, though - open beta will not be until later in the summer. Even after open beta, new mechs and maps will be added, bugs fixed, and even balance continuously adjusted.

Please note, there will also likely be a 'wipe' at the beginning of open beta, returning player stats and stuff to a clean slate so as to have a level playing field. If that happens, Founders mechs will be reset to stock equipment and you will have any currency you spent refunded so that you are at your correct 'starting' money.

Note to Garth: I hope you don't mind me answering some of the questions that already have answers floating out there. Not wanting to step on your toes, but hoping to make sure that new and fresh questions get Dev answers instead of the same old ones again :P

I would like to know the same thing. Are you going to be able to talk to squad mates during a battle with out having to use an outside source like teamspeak?

Why is the MWO-page named mwomercs.com and not only MWO? I assume there might be a special reason why it was named mwomercs, so I am curious...what was that reason?

When will you remove the forum search restrictions? It's hard finding topics if I cant search less then 4 words. For instance, LRM or AC 5 or Mad Cat. Theres several things ive tried looking for in the open forums and can't because Im not able to search for them.

With the Jagermech, the large bar on top of the head is an advanced targeting radar, Since the Jagermech is similar to the Rifleman and is designed to be Anti-Aircraft. Will the Radar Bar on the head ROTATE during play? Because that would be EPIC!

WardenWolf, the Banshee 3E is not a variant. It's the original model. That being said, the arms don't have any weapons on them. So consequently, will the Banshee 3E be aloud to mount weapons on it's arms or not?
