Just freakin' awesome! Given I took a shot at St. Ives, this makes me wonder what you'd eventually do with the fictitious Atlas Hunters... just for fun of course.
One off treatment, for an old friend. Respect for camaraderie. Fan work, nothing official.
In the belly of the Leopard Class drop ship
Lady Washington the mysterious leader of the notorious Atlas Hunters stared up at the hastily-painted Blackjack salvaged from an earlier raid on Warlock. It was the heaviest ‘mech on hand, and would be replacing the Orion that had been shot out from under him almost a month ago. When he agreed make himself available to his old compatriot, Major Hayden of the St. Ives expeditionary Group, he certainly never expected to end up in a Blackjack. Let alone one so… uniquely painted.
“What, you couldn't decide on a damn paint scheme?”

Auto canon fire rocking the cockpit of his borrowed BJ-1 snapped the dashing MechWarrior, known only to his compatriots as “The Iron Hawk”, back to attention. There was a battle to be fought… or rather, an escape to be made.
“That camo is working pretty good, right?” Came the deep, chocolaty tones of Major Hayden, leader of the St. Ives Expeditionary group and the last of his lance mates standing. “It’s a little number we like to call ‘super ridgeline’, all those AC rounds flying around you? Yeah, they’d be getting twice as many hits if we had painted that thing up in your default
Atlas Hunters scheme! It would be like a bullet magnet! If lead was ferrous…”
The Iron Hawk cursed under his breath: this was supposed to be a personal favor, not a death wish. “Cut the chatter, how far are we to the dust-off zone?”
“About fifty klicks! Through the main enemy force, they’ll never see us coming!”
The Iron Hawk sighed: this was going to be a long night.

“Hey Hawk, your real name isn’t ‘Butch’ or ‘Sundance’, is it?”
