The Zeus has long been an iconic Lyran BattleMech, and became part of efforts to solidify the newly fledged Federated Commonwealth. During the War of '39, Nondi Steiner, sister to Archon Katrina Steiner, piloted a Zeus while accompanying the 3rd Lyran Guards.

However, in the Davion half of the Federated Commonwealth, the Zeus was greeted as an upstart that no one wanted to have, leaving it to be sold off to mercenaries or dumped in militia units, like the Warren CMM on the edge of Periphery space.

Let's see, you picked my favorite chassis, it's badged with both my home State of NC and my Faction, Steiner, and even personalized it with my name!

Sparks, you are da' man!

Thank you sir!

Another nice looking scheme with contrasting colors. That Blue and Grey looks awesome.

Additionally, the numbers by the grill are your placement figures for the Trebuchet in the chassis challenge.

I'm hoping it's going to be in the Lyran faction pack in the Resistance collection. The Lyran Guards scheme is a beautifully distinctive pattern, and if we get it in the collection, we'll probably see it released for separate purchase later.

I hope so that we will get some "real" LCAF shemes. But I also currently use the BJ-Arrow sheme quite alot. Blue and white. Nearly close to your sheme.

That curved shoulder shield is killing me. Not only can I not figure out if I can do a curved perspective with GIMP, but the plating and bolts are out of line, and not following the angle of the upper arm. So I had to try drawing the old KH insignia on it by hand...er...mouse. Not super happy with, but oh well.

Not sure if GIMP has a similar thing, but I've been using Photoshop's liquefy tool and a brush with the same diameter as the panel.

will check into that, though it does nothing to fix them bolts which I am thinking about doing surgery on.

should be closer to that, only, not, well, crappy looking. Anyone got the skills to fix that so that shoulder emblems look right?

Pet project of mine, a FedCom Civil War era refit by the AFFS of the ENF-5D, mounting a single RAC/5 with 3 tons of ammunition in the right arm, a PPC in the left arm, a Medium Laser in the LT and DHS. Additionally some units were refit with Triple Strength Myomers, but this was relatively uncommon.
