I actually have a request that may or may not make sense: a Catapult in all black (or extremely dark grey) with the exception of the left LRM pod which is a gunmetal metallic. Trim, damage and is up to the artist, but the predominant color should be black. For the cockpit glass, a green or dark green lens is preferred with red tinted lenses for the medium lasers.

For icons, I'd like a poker hand of four aces, with text curving over and under that says "Aces" on top and "Wild" underneath and the motto: "Fire Support; One Each" under the left-hand side of the cockpit.

And, if the artist feels it at all appropriate, maybe a shark-tooth grin done on the nose. If it doesn't look right, or doesn't fit with the rest of the aesthetic, feel free to leave it out.

Thanks for reading, and this thread is absolutely fantastic. Seriously so. When I found this thread, I about crapped my pants with the awesome-ness that this thread exudes. Even if no one takes my request, I can't wait to see some of the other stuff that y'all put into this thread.

Meet Paw and Maw!
For you amateurs of gold paint, more Lyran Centurions! This time, here's a rendering of 1st Royal Guards RCT: The Pride of Donegal. The blue is more Steiner blue than royal but it does bring out the highlights of the gold paint, so dear to them. No abuse on gold though; just more abundant accent on weapons and on the side for standard ‘Mechs, such as Paw below. Higher ranking officer, such as Maw, bears more gold, the 'O' symbol of its Colonel rank (stands for Oberst) and more custom designs. Shield decal was hand painted on my Wacom tablet.

Funny. The folks at Piranha were so eager to get Centurion repaints yesterday... Now they got plenty and they are nowhere to be found. However I did hear they were working on a game or something. I heard they were working with a deadline pressure of some sort. Heard something about "the bar being so high to satisfy that eager community." Anywho...

Nice job on that Dragon, Damocles. Especially the shark teeth and 'dirty' look.

Another one. This time back with the Merc theme for AH. Instead of the kaki, orange and white, I replaced most of the orange by copper paint.

Your company has the coolest color scheme and logo work, Ironhawk. I have to admit to some small amount of jealousy, as I am hard pressed to put out sigs, ranks, and awards, let alone getting pain on the 'Mechs I want, right now. Still no mastery of GIMP, here, hehe...

Hayden, any word on that Catapult .psd file? Please?

Wow, that new Dragon looks so good. You shall make another series of his repaints when you are done with Centurions.

Bless you, Hayden. Perhaps, if I can figure out how to reverse engineer your .psd files, I can actually gain an education in making layers happen. Even with that video, I just don't seem to be art-utility-adept enough to get this to work. That, and I've been working on a crap-ton of other things for my merc unit, so I've not had much time. I have, however, learned a great many other things about the program I've been using since Moses was a child, PhotoImpact 4, and I think this program may very well have been a direct predecessor to PSP.

Again, thank you.
