Konnichi-wa Kuritans.
I am known as Darque_Ainjel from MegaMek3025, and Shinigami from MekWars TacOps-Jihad, MekWars Jihad, and MekWars Legends. Other than that, I have not been very active in the multiplayer community. Note that I have been asked several years ago on the MW:Jihad server if I was "the same Shinigami" that someone else was familiar with, but I have yet to run into anyone else claiming the name.
I have played the classic Battletech game for over 20 years now, and while I have played in several different Clans, the only Inner Sphere house that I have ever felt comfortable in has been House Kurita. I have played nearly every Battletech computer game, including the old DOS based Crescent Hawk's Inception & Revenge. I have also enjoyed playing the various RPG variants, starting with MW 2nd Edition & including A Time of War. My favorite Clan 'Mech is the Nova, especially when I have the leeway to customize it as you are supposed to be able to. Second to that would be either the Turkina or the Blood Asp. The Dire Wolf is nice, but it tends to be overused, so its flavor is bland to me now. For Inner Sphere Mechs, my favorite would be the Panther PNT-9R for a light, classic mech, or the Axman (AXM-2N or AXM-3S), Akuma, or No-Dachi (for the fluff more than the capabilities of the Akuma & No-Dachi).
From a faction loyalty perspective, it is partially dependent on the timeline. If restricted to the Inner Sphere, I will go with the Draconis Combine every time. If the option is there for any Clan, it will usually be Clan Nova Cat, who of course ends up allied with the Draconis Combine anyways. A close second is Clan Star Adder, if I want to play a Clan that is not either allied with an Inner Sphere faction or invading the Inner Sphere. If restricted to an invading Clan, you will find me in Clan Jade Falcon, where my Turkina is in good supply.
I am quite looking forward to this game coming out, and I look forward to playing with all of you.
