Hello all

Have been playing battltetech since mid 80's table top version of course. Got into MW 3 big time was in many units Widowmakers, Ice Hellions, Counts. Was also in the Star Lance league, so some of you may remeber me on MSN the zone call sign fullmetal. cant wait to gety back into the cockpit and do some havoc. Played MW 4 but just could not get into as much, and most that i gamed with at the time moved on to EQ.

Have also played all games in the mechwarrior universe in the last ten years or so, just cant wait till this starts and can get back into it again.

By the way any old Ice hellions out there read this get a hold of me would love to start the unit up again. IH_Valiant? IH_tebow, IH_smokestack etc etc...

I started with the Classic Table Top game.
When it first came out, Back in the 80's (yes, I can remember the 80's).
I even have a pilots license, from FASA, somewhere...

Then MechWarrior the RPG.

AeroTech started, in there, somewhere..

There are several of the novella's in my library...

I even won a LAM miniature playing one of the stand-alone games.

Since then, I've tried the PC versions up to MechWarrior 2

I never really played "Clans", or the other FPS's, back then, my hardware wasn't up to it.
Now, my hardware's up to up, not sure I'm up to it!

I'm old. I'll be lucky if I can remember the startup codes on a mech. But I've always been Kurita!

Konnichi-wa

It is my honor to humbly introduce myself to you all. I am Hunter McGee. But I took that name from my best friend who can no longer play due to a spinal stroke paralyzing him.

I originally am know as Tanaga Matabushi from Shimonoseki in the glorious Draconis Combine. I am a devout follower of Theodore Sama and will strive to further his aims and goals. Any who oppose me shall face my blade.

Konnichi-wa Kuritans.

I am known as Darque_Ainjel from MegaMek3025, and Shinigami from MekWars TacOps-Jihad, MekWars Jihad, and MekWars Legends. Other than that, I have not been very active in the multiplayer community. Note that I have been asked several years ago on the MW:Jihad server if I was "the same Shinigami" that someone else was familiar with, but I have yet to run into anyone else claiming the name.

I have played the classic Battletech game for over 20 years now, and while I have played in several different Clans, the only Inner Sphere house that I have ever felt comfortable in has been House Kurita. I have played nearly every Battletech computer game, including the old DOS based Crescent Hawk's Inception & Revenge. I have also enjoyed playing the various RPG variants, starting with MW 2nd Edition & including A Time of War. My favorite Clan 'Mech is the Nova, especially when I have the leeway to customize it as you are supposed to be able to. Second to that would be either the Turkina or the Blood Asp. The Dire Wolf is nice, but it tends to be overused, so its flavor is bland to me now. For Inner Sphere Mechs, my favorite would be the Panther PNT-9R for a light, classic mech, or the Axman (AXM-2N or AXM-3S), Akuma, or No-Dachi (for the fluff more than the capabilities of the Akuma & No-Dachi).

From a faction loyalty perspective, it is partially dependent on the timeline. If restricted to the Inner Sphere, I will go with the Draconis Combine every time. If the option is there for any Clan, it will usually be Clan Nova Cat, who of course ends up allied with the Draconis Combine anyways. A close second is Clan Star Adder, if I want to play a Clan that is not either allied with an Inner Sphere faction or invading the Inner Sphere. If restricted to an invading Clan, you will find me in Clan Jade Falcon, where my Turkina is in good supply.

I am quite looking forward to this game coming out, and I look forward to playing with all of you.

Paladin,
I am full aware of the timeline, and understand that Theodore did not come to power till much later, but I was referring to his title of Gunji-no-Kanrei. As the director of military affairs, he is my Shogun, and my blade will honor him. <<Bows>>

been playing since the 1st edition back in '84 (known then as Battledroids).
played table regularly from then to the 90s and off and on in the 00's.
i own a copy of (afaik) every FASA Battletech source book.(most of it has been converted to .pdf)
have played all fasa pc games even spent time in NBT MERCS League.

got into the megmek/mekwars community for a few years also.
mostly used unclecid or Drago as my callsign on the various servers.
i helped run the Solaris 7 and Clan Homeworlds and for a time even hosted those 2 servers.

and while over the years i have played as a merc and clanner and various Houses i have always been a Son of the Dragon at heart.

Hi guys! I'm a long-time battletech fan, been playing MW games since MW2, and I'm thrilled to finally see something new/official. I'm also something of an artist, mostly active in the art section of the forum. Huge fan of the Amphigean LAG, so I'm hoping to start/join such a unit. I'm excited to play with you all!

O-haiyo gozaimasu. O-namae wa Tai-i- no Yozume desu. Yoroshuku onigaishimasu.

I started out with the Battletech RPG and CCG in middle school in the 90s then later moved on to Mechwarrior 2 and the miniatures game. Battletech followed me throughout my undergraduate and graduate work where I studied East Asian military history and philosophy.

At one time I preferred units like the Sword of Light, Otomo, and Izanagi, I am now shifting towards the Sun Zhang cadres.

I like to dabble in painting minis from time to time also.

Hello.
New to this house, if I'm honest.
I do not know much of the Inner Sphere, having been raised on MW2.
I've normally fought for Clan Wolf, but seeing as the Clans will likely be a later appearance in this game, I wish to ally myself with House Kurita.
Consider me a proud volunteer of the honorable DCMS.

Militant Monk reporting for service to The Dragon.

Historically I played the role of pacifist scout piloting an Oscout with TAG and purifiying the battlefield with the Dragon's Breath. Since that will doubtfully be an option here I will lend my services as an able scout and tactician.

Hello all. Very excited that this IP is going to be active again. Been playing BT since the mid 80s. My pilot will have been displaced by the formation of the FRR and will not rest until his homeland again bows to the Dragon.
