I played with TigerAxe in MPBT:Solaris and 3025. I don't remember my chain of command above them :D it has been way too long.

I do remember you Paladin, and Tarl Cabot, and HipCat. Those were the days.

wow somebody used the name Tarl Cabot from the John Norman Gor novels interesting :) I have played Mechwarrior 4 Mercs. But for the most part I have always played the board game. So I am rather curious has to what the MPBT stands or stood for if one of you would be so kind has to explain it to me please.

MPBT = Multiplayer Battletech. It was an online game of supreme sexiness.

Thank you Brew. wish I would have heard about it a lot sooner.

Anyways I know this is a day late but I thought I would let you guys and gals (if any are here) read about my character.

The mercenary group called Hawk’s Ronin was founded in the year 3047. Its founder Commander T. S. Hawk was born in the year 3020 on the planet Delacruz in the Draconis Combine planetary system near the Draconis Combine and Federated Suns planetary border. Thomas Satoshi Hawk was born to Mitsuko Hawk and Taisa Reagan Hawk on April 15th 3020 in the city of Davos. His mother Mitsuko took great care of him as a child while his father Taisa or Colonel Reagan Hawk was a ranking officer on the military base.

When Thomas was 10 years of age his father went missing towards the end of the Fourth Succession War on the planet Kesai IV. Nobody is certain as to what happened but Taisa Hawk and his whole company disappeared. At the age of 16, Thomas entered Isoroku Yamamato Military Academy on Galedon V there he excelled at being a future military officer as well as handling the giant battle mechs. He graduated in the year 3039 and that same year another war began.

During the battle of Kesai IV in March of 3040, the recon lance that Thomas Hawk was in command of was ambushed by a lance of heavy mechs from the Federated Suns. It was reported that all of the mechs under the command of Thomas Hawk were destroyed and that there was no survivors. On March 29th in the year of 3040 a patrol from one of Wolf’s Dragoons found Chui (Lieutenant) Thomas Satoshi Hawk and his second in command, Shoi (2nd Lieutenant) Kenichi Roberts, wounded but very much alive just 20 kilometers from the ambush site and three days after it happened. The two were indentured to the Wolf’s Dragoons in order to repay their debt for saving their lives. Two months later the war of 3039 ended and a new chance at being mechwarriors began.

Under the training and tutelage of the Wolf’s Dragoons, T.S. Hawk and Ken Roberts rose among their ranks. And in the year 3047 during the month of March they won their freedom from the Wolf’s Dragoons their debt repaid in full.
In April of the year 3047 T.S. Hawk and Keniichi Roberts went to Galatea and got the necessary paperwork to fill out and form Hawk’s Ronin. Towards the end of May of 3047 they were able to field one full company of mechs, and in June of that same year they got their first mission in the Draconis Combine on Vega. Though it was mainly guard and escort duty for the Cosby Myomer Research Firm located on Vega they saw plenty of action. After their contract was up in December of 3047, the Earl of Alshain hired them to help with guarding one of the mech factories in Silverdale. While on this duty Hawk’s Ronin grew to a 2nd company of mechs and its first squad of infantry and support vehicles. Hawk’s Ronin proved to be a great benefit as they helped bring down one of the few remaining terrorists group’s that have been a major problem for that world

I will do some more work on it but still need research to be done and trying to dig up some of the old papers I originally did on it.

Hello

First of all, I've never seen community which has as long history as MechWarrior/Battletech.

I've been playing MechWarrior for little over short 10 years. Mostly MW3 and MW4. And I've never really
got into organized multiplayer due various reasons, and I almost feel like an outsider. Outside MechWarrior
I play tabletop Battletech and run AToW campaigns.

House Kurita has always been my faction of choice. But I'm not jumping to declare my complete
support for Kurita until I learn more about game mechanics and how factions are handled.

Hi all Medivac here, and I've been playing and exploring the Battletech universe since the Mid 1980's, loved playing The Crescent Hawks' Inception on my old Commodore 64, and every other game since.
Loved House Kurita so much that my first Tattoo was house Kurita ( **** you Mortal Kombat!!!) all those noobs saying "the dragons the wrong way around".
Favorite Mech is the Catapult, Messed with a Warhammer but always go back to my old faithful Cat.

Welcome Medivac. The Cat is a good long range support style mech. As for me I will keep my Warhammer :)

Hmm.. I remember an Hostile former Steiner who I found in the White Lotus upon one of my drinking binges and recruited him to serve the Dragon. Something I've never regretted.

*chuckles* Tcarus-tono, a name I have not seen in many ages. It is good to see that you still live old friend. As memory recalls, you recruited me specifically to rebuild Rasalhague Military District. I like to think I did my best. You should join me in Skippy's for a brew :)

Good to see ya here my friend. Now if we can get Tarl Cabot to show up, the three TC"s will be in the House again! If I remember right, when Roller was House XO, Tarl had DMD, you had RMD, and I had GMD on Gamestorm. A few years ago ; )

Did someone call for a Medic-Angel?

I began my MPBT life as a survival skill of being a computer widow. LOL.
Back in the AOL/Gamestorm days of Solaris. I went by Either Ainslee or Medic Angel
Had a great time. Was blessed to be one of the early members of TigerAxe with Bengal, Grifter, and Gruumish.
Then moved to the Illustrious House Kurita. I remember being with DragonFly, JC, Brewer, Roller was the HL when I was there.
I had the pleasure of being under the command of Tcarus-tono as well.
I can't remember my exact full handle at the time, but I think I was Tai-i when it all ended.
Brewer please don't quote me on that, I would trust your memory FAR better than my own.
Though I do seem to remember seeing the HK manual around here somewhere recently.
I look forward to returning to the mechs and old friends.

Hey Medic, I do remember your name. Though in my head I am thinking you were in the 22nd RR, but that is possibly wrong. I don't know where my old rosters are :)

Would this be a symptom of the dreaded KFFS Kuritan fumble finger syndrom?

I was there for awhile too.
I bounced around from unit to unit within HK.
my translated handle was Igakusei Tenshi. That might be whats in the rosters as well

Nice to see a few names from times past.

Got hooked on the original Mechwarrior PC game and I am still hooked, having played MW2,3,4 and Mechcommander :) Played a little bit on Genie and some Gamestorm Solaris and finally 3025. Never got into the whole league thing altho I looked on occasion.

Now sure what to expect from MWO overall, but I am sure looking forward to some drops and kicking some Steiner ***.
