And thanks about the site. I don't consider it finished but I have several months heh. I just wish people would use it, not many posts, no one uses the gallery, and alot of people I know are not even registered

The name is Milo Riker, and I'm beyond excited about MWO. I started playing in the 80s with the table top game and eventually started on Mechwarrior 2. I still think that game had the best soundtrack of any game I've ever played. I then continued on to just about every game that came after that. I was very sad when the franchise came to a halt in the 2000s. I never read any novels so I was a bit confused on house selection. Starting today however, I found 6 BT books on audio which I listen to on the way to work. After doing a little research, it seemed House Kurita was the best fit for me. I prefer a militaristic approach and I also study the samurai and bushido. I'm also a big fan of the Catapult.

I have played every computer iteration of the MW universe I could find, from Crescent Hawks Inception (still play that today with DosBox
I was XO of a small independent stable called SpecWar during Solaris AOL days, until I got deployed for a 6 month cruise and things fell apart before I got back. In Gamestorm I got recruited by Bengal and Grifter into TigerAxe (way back in 1997), after they found out I was married irl to someone already in their ranks, Medic Angel. I have been a rabidly loyal member of TA ever since.
I am looking forward to dropping again with my friends and family, re-living my glory years

I am Vas, formerly known as Chu-Sa Dangerboy or Chu-Sa Hunyadi (before my name change) in MPBT. I was a Kurita regular before I helped form the Black Dragon Legion (mercenary unit) along with fellow prefecture commanders.
I have a list of friends/folks I worked with somewhere (Invierno, Lighning, Hilman, Paladin, Rude Rich, Hercules, to name a few) that I'd love to see here again! I see Paladin is here!!
I've played every Battletech/Mech Warrior single player game that was released and I've missed the online/community aspect of it ever since MPBT went away.
I'm looking forward to MWO and to meeting more of you fine warriors.

I begin with the BTU at 8-9 years when i bought MechWarrior 4:Vengance it was my first video game !
I never forget the MW4:Vengance but one day when i was on holiday in Tunisia i found a battletech book i was Lethal heritage in German !
I read it and like it so much that i searched the Battltech Universe again and read on sarna.net many articles,i bought books and today i don't stop to read it !
The thing that i like is that Battletech is written in english and when i read Battltech i learn better english !!
Of course my life is for The Coordinator ! Long live to the Dragon !

Before MW4 Mercs was free, i was strictly a tabletop mech-head.
I most often played Battletech, Citytech, Aerotech and Mechwarrior.
My most familiar setting is the period from the mid-fourth succession war, through the discovery of Lostech and the questionably-bred sons of Kerensky returning...sorry, the clan invasions
Loved MW4 but struggled to get online...i was a ninja on S7, tho

I got involved in the battletech universe back when I was 10 or so, and began piloting my first Shadowcat in MW4. Since then, I have become a good pilot and I try to play an hour every day to keep my skills up. I have never played online before (lack of getting a good connection) but I play with people around and I do usually well. I tend to keep to mostly heavy weight mechs with high armor and at least decent speed. By far, my favorite mechs are the Nova Cat and the Supernova (modified with heavy medium lasers and extra tons to the engines and heat sinks). I also like team play and love a well place trap. When I play in a team in my area, I usually go forth as the bait and lure in heavier mechs to their doom.
I am just getting into classic Battletech too

Greatly looking forward to getting into the MWO experience, as I have played City of Heroes/Villains for several years off and on, but even with my love of comic books from my youth, I just can't get into it as much as I have the Mechwarrior/Battletech universe!
My preferred mechs are; Locust, Commando, Assassin, Centurion, Dragon, Warhammer, Battlemaster and Atlas.

Now Im fairly certain I spent some serious time training You, Shep, Hannibal and a few others during ISW and yet Goliath gets the credit....whats up with that? lolz
Don't worry Hawk. We still remember you. Yes this is Han. For some reason we cannot use our original names. I am guessing an old database is around somewhere. Ice Shep and me cannot use those names.
I will poke my head in and out. For the time I am on BSGO playing.
