What would you like to see in the store to spend your real money on? I'm interested to see what they offer because this will probably be the first f2p game I will actively try and support as much as I can.

Anybody have suggestions or ideas? If we can get a nice consolidated list of decent things to offer without imbalancing the game it might make a good topic in the suggestions forum.

Nice Paul thank you. I'll start going through all 10 pages and get a consolidated list.

On the topic of Doodads inside of the cockpit, I would totally buy a in Dash MP3 player with visualizations and maybe customizable LED lights.

100% on board with this. Want to listen to your own tracks while playing? Should be worth a buck or two.

voice com should be free...between teammates. Private channels could be sold for 2 bits each. Maybe a gamewide system could be worth a buck.

maybe the devs can cut some deals with a few artists, both musical and visual. They could offer exclusive tracks or graphics by them...

whatever you do, no childish nonsense like holographic smily faces and dancing like in blacklight retribution. uninstalled that game as a result.

for an m rated game, you'd think they would stop pandering to the 12 year olds/stupid people.

An idea, perhaps a poor one, would be to have single player or co-operative missions or campaigns available for purchase. Not being a programmer of any kind I don't know the limitations on creating AI for NPC's, or for making a multiplayer game have a single party (player) component, but I thought this is one way to go to soothe all of the "I wanna $60 campaign Mechwarrior game! Rawr!" people. (Of which I am not one of.) ;)

I would love single player and co-op missions. I would not love to have to buy them all individually.

Might be willing to pay for them in packs or entire campaigns.. But not map my map. Over priced piece by over priced piece like you get with the bad F2P models.

I've played A.V.A. and one of funner parts of the game is co-op. It won't break my heart if there isn't a co-op but it would add diversity to the game.

no, just no. i can deal with gameplay related things like mechs, but single player is way too awesome to leave in the hands of "pay to win" types.

If I can draw an example from the casual gaming world, there is a game called "Gardens of Time" on Facebook which sells seasonal expansion packs on the free to play model, as far as I can tell quite a few people buy them. I think that kind of immediate cash reward for storyline development and expanded content is fairer to both the consumer and the production team. Some people will want to buy every side campaign, and that could help keep the rest of the community moving forward financially.

I think this could be an amazing cash cow! A campaign pack of historical battles that you play through with a variety of old model mechs. Or even unique mechs that aren't available to the "non-paying" base. I know that will p*ss people off, but hey; PGI got to get paid, son.

I'd pay for a single player campaign, especially if you had the option for co-op.

Would love the option to buy MWO Zippo's, T-shirts, caps, hand painted minatures etc.

Basically look at what the eve store is like and think the same lines. I got the EVE Zippo and hand painted Megathron for my brothers birthday. Was well worth the money and a great collectors item.

MWO gear on the other hand would be great. Can't wait to have a coffee mug with an Urban Mech on it ;)

Or better yet, an Urbanmech made into a coffee mug (or a beer stein).

I do believe the powers that be are becoming aware of how rabid/zealous battletech/mechwarrior fans are, I wouldn't be surprised if an online store opened up selling collectibles such as shirts, hats, mugs and such. We have been starved for such a long time and deprived of our beloved universe that most if not almost all are willing to pay a monthly stipened to help with the cost of this undertaking. Its insane I know, but hey its a fun place to play and will hopefully continue to be so :-) If a store does open, I will certainly be purchasing from it.

Whenever a major event/battle occurs, a large mission pack could be released. Clans invade, here's the mission pack where you get to play as an invading clanner. No real pay to win, just extra cool for those who are willing to pay.
