Honestly, I'd take a Legion Tank over most battlemechs (its equal in weight to an Atlas)

1. Premium time, if I would have the possibility to take only a half or a quarter day, because some times I'm only able to play for some hours a day or a week. (even if i. e. 1 day costs 240 mc and a half day costs 150 mc so "two half days" will cost a little bit more than 1 full day)
2. Renaming my mechs afterwards
3. If later on the mechs get damaged in fights and repairing this will cost, a mech insurance
Thats it for now.
Kind Regards

But I'd be VERY interested in empty FULLY customizable chassis. Meaning: I buy the chassis and get to select the hardpoints it has within a framework of rules to ensure balance. I know this is totally not BT. But for me as a customizing freak that would be heaven.

The problem is with Harmony Gold (not FASA) completely screwing the fans of the source manga due to an overly onorous international *perpetual!* distribution agreement made with a minor player in the source material. The courts in Japan ruled last year that the IP does not belong to the company that Harmony Gold got their distribution licence from (and belongs to the company that FASA got the licence from); but until the distribution agreement is challenged in the US courts (by someone with a *lot* of money for lawyers), it ain't going to happen. BTW, the FASA licence is valid, but the cross-licence court challenges are too expensive for FASA (really just a 1 man company these days) to go against Harmony Gold's lawyers. There was an out-of-court agreement between FASA and Harmony Gold about a decade ago, but there was further legal action by Harmony Gold that screwed things up again. See "Unseen" on wikipedia or Sarna.net
*Microsoft* on the other hand (who have the MechWarrior digital rights) do the the funds, but would need the will (and potential financial return) to break them.
If this game was made in Japan and not distributed internationally, all the "Unseen" would be automatically included, as the legal issues are only with the international distribution (there is a *huge* amount of toys, games and other materials available in Japan for the SDF/Macross line, we're talking millions of Yen per year in revenue).

I would like to be able to upload a custom insignia after we are able to create our units for community warfare and that insignia is placed on all mechs that fall under my units name. This would create a much more customized feel to the game.

sorry dude, but I don't think you have a point here. ECM is currently very well balanced, and note that I'm not playing in LRM boats or ECM Ravens.

The most valueable thing that brings money to any game is game's quality and fairness with players. Now you're doing a great job indeed! Please don't pay too much attention to money bringing content. Just focus on polishing the game and being equal to both free to play crowd and donating players. Fair gameplay and quality will bring you loads more money than a gamestore full of must pay stuff in a bad game.
In terms of moneymaking you always should think more about donating player's ego but not hurting other players. It will always come down to making someone's mech unique. Patterns, insignias, cockpit items, aerography or even halogenic lighting

you have managed to make me hate every word within a single post. well done sir.
the point of the training room is so that new unskilled player who aren't used to the game yet can learn how it works. if you make it a pay only option then only the players who already like the game enough to spend money will use it.
lets be honest. regardless of how much money you have each player will only spend money up to a certain point. after that point you have everything you want. we need more players to keep this game going. we need some way to get new players into the game and start paying money.
veteran fans of the series mostly don't need a training area. i got used to the gameplay and controls within a couple days because it was very similar to older computer games. new players do actually need a training area to learn how the game works.
it is not fun to just die repeatedly in a game because you have no idea how anything works. people generally DO NOT spend money on games if they are not having fun.
currently i am pretty sure non battletech / mechwarrior fans very thoroughly outnumber the people who already love the series. i don't suggest lowering the quality of the game, in fact i think much more skill should be required in many aspects of the game, but we need to leave some sort of doorway for the vast numbers of everyone else to get in the game and start to enjoy it.
i will leave the lobby stuff alone because i have stated those points in several other places.

Sorry, I have to disagree with this. All you see in 8 man drops now are DDC's and ravens. All equipped with guardian. Not much fun and variation in that is there. Hence, why I would pay to have ECM nerfed

Should have clearified that the creator of it has to have a premium time. Something similar to WoT. So new players could join a training room that was made public. Reason I say premium is that it honestly would be where i played the most if i had a group of friends and I would rarely run the normal matches if it was free. Only way I would do normal matches would be to pay for repairs.
Also you are looking at the training ground differently than I. More as a single player learning to control his mech. Which such a room is needed but thats not what i am talking about. I see it as a team training room that can be used for other things. Where you can set the map you want to play on and invite up to 8v8 or 12v12 when it gets here.
So lets say my unit wanted to have a solaris like tournament. they could set this room up and have an organized tournament that they didnt have to synch drop to have.

A little humor never hurts as well. I'd love a panel called 'The Jersey Special' that included a bunch of nonsensical buttons like "Receive Bacon", "Destroy the World" "Smite the World" "Headbutt" "Rip arms out of Sockets," Pounding," "More Pounding," "General Pummeling" and a steering wheel instead of the V-sticks.
Obviously, fuzzy dice are on the way... But I'd also pay for a rear view mirror. Reflecting the back of the cockpit, of course. Nothing really super-badass... just things to keep me amused.
For something more serious: Something as simple as a 3 pack of items called 'Coming Home (F)' : A photo of a woman stuck into the main control panel, hand written letter pinned to the side panel, and a woman's necklace hung around a top panel.
Something like that would take... 1 person say... 5 hours to go from Zero to Complete Dead simple. Nothing needs coding, nothing needs mapped in. Charge a few MC for the whole package and bingo -- Profit!
Custom Cockpit parts and skins seems like a very good idea to me... heck, People pay a pretty hefty sum in Star Trek: Online for custom bridges... the one place you hardly ever see in the game. Custom cockpits, though? People will jump at that in half a second, I tell you what.
Not yet, granted -- you fine folks still have (many) things to address, but looking at the future, you'll need to give out a lot of content to pay them bills.

ok. Once again. Players' ego.
I think they will pay more willingly for their outfit if you'll develop some sort of after match glory camera that shows best/survived pilots or any other way of distinction. Something where players would like to show off. A place where their mechs will be shown in all their glory (probably in their current state after the battle) and pilots themselves standing in front of/ sitting on top of their mechs. Here's the reason why they would like to see themselves in outfit more goodlooking than current cheesy texture of pilot suit.
