What I was looking for in a team.

Community, loyalty, habitual success. A lot of places talk about teamwork and "family" and being there for each other. I wanted to join an Outfit that did more than talk, but realized those ideals so thoroughly that they were instantly recognizable as core value that were respected, honored and sustained.

Found it.

Choosing BWC was a no brainer: 10 years of existence and large and organized outfit was what I was looking for. Cound't made a better choice.

Why I chose to join BWC:
The military aspect fascinated me from the very beginning ! After reading through the SOP and BWC’s history I knew that this was the Company with which I could achieve my goals! I was also fascinated by the idea of controlling a part of space and the fact that they hated piracy!
After all, BWC was the most promising and best looking outfit out there, and I can say, it was the right choice!

I chose to join BCW because of its reputation for being a home for many active duty and retired armed forces gamers. While for most of us gaming is a way to get away from the daily grind that only the 1% of the population that serves truly understands, it is nice to be able to share your recreational time with people who truly understand the highs, lows, inanities and insanities that come with the job.

In addition to that, the military bent lends itself to a training, leadership, and execution style that is not only logical but highly effective. This may be recreation for me, but when I play I play to win. With BWC, I find that happens more often than not.

Why I chose to join BWC.

I decided to join BWC because I was looking for a structured team that treated each member respectfully and because teamwork was a number one priority. When it comes to MWO, BWC spends hours and days working together and practicing to become the best lance team, while building friendships and having good games.

I chose BWC because the company seemed to be a good fit after I visited their website. They value many of the traits I hold near and dear such as honor, integrity, reliability, camaraderie, and kinship. BWC offers players the opportunity to not only improve their gaming performance, but to also get involved in the community (both in game and out) on many, many levels. There is so much going on in the company and the members are friendly and helpful. When you join, you are family… you aren’t just a number. Join us now!

Why I chose to join BWC

I chose to join BWC long ago when I was looking for something more than a lot of the gaming clans I was in (Back in my Battlefield and Unreal 2k3 days). When I first looked at joining BWC, the extreme wealth of information and organization is what really drew me in. I know that if they spent so much time just writing up rules, doctrine, training and other such efforts, that they really did care about what they were doing, and were in it for the long haul.

To this day, the same amount of effort is put into everything BWC does, which really helps make this more than just a group of gamer, but a true community that extends beyond what you see in a typical group.

I have been in teams, clans and communities many times in my life. All of them, until now, had little real commitment beyond maybe a few random encounters on an empty teamspeak server. BWC is different – they had over 300 active players in 3 major supported games and a myriad unsupported games. Drop onto the teamspeak servers and there is ALWAYS players ready to welcome you into a game. There is strong command and support structure that is merit based – work hard, add to the community you get recognized. But, most of all, they are military based with many veterans that continue to work for a common good in online game. Picking BWC was easy – no else even came close to doing it the right way !!

So I guess we're at the "Why?" ladies and gentlemen... Well I'm not military, but it has always fascinated me. It was basic logic for me to base my decision on joining. Who can better manage to successfully deal with everything that's involved with running a large organization?
They have stood the biggest test of all, test of time. We all [experienced gamers] know how that test works. 10 years is no small feat. I wanted to join a group that will not fall apart at the slightest signs of internal disagreements. Unity, purpose, experience. Brothers and sisters. The later, was revealed to me from an interview with some of the people behind the scenes on Blue Horizons internet radio podcast here(that was from Star Citizen boards, for those wandering what I'm talking about). It was an instant decision at that point. One team, One fight!

Why I chose to join BWC:
After talking to various units, I found BWC to be very friendly and professional. They cover several different games, so it gave me a "one stop shop" to find a group to be a part of. It is great to see the same team across genres. They even have unofficial units in other games so you can find them just about anywhere.
I started with them in MWO, but after seeing all the other games that they cover, I have gained an interest in those games as well.

Why I chose to join BWC:

The choice was not difficult, BWC was active in the games that I play too, and they seemed very organized. took a chance to enter an application, have not regretted it for a second.

Why I chose to join BWC:

In the past, I played many different online games, and the clans I joined were awesome and I made a lot of friends. However, without fail, these clans all eventually fell apart when the games' popularity died down. I thought to myself, why does this happen? What is necessary in a long-lasting organization? Luckily, I found the answer in BWC, and this great outfit has the organization and discipline needed to play any game to the fullest. I learned that to have a long-lasting gaming community, you must have dedicated people that volunteer their time and money and hard work to build this community and then nurture it with loving care. I am grateful for these selfless people in BWC that write the trainings, the knowledge banks, and the leadership courses so we may adapt to any situation and overcome. Not to mention playing the games also! Thus, I joined BWC because of the commitment and burning desire of our leadership to build an outfit that is more than just a gaming community, but a family. Thank you BWC!

Why I chose to join BWC.

I choose BWC because it had what I was looking for in a team.
Structure but restrictive, organized but not limiting. When I joined BWC I didn't join because it was the most bad *** unit out there. I didn't join because they're the best Merc Crop in MWO, hell I didn't even want to belong to merch corp. I joined because they held the same values as I did. Team work, brotherhood. Working together towards a common objective and supporting each other along the way.
I didn't know how big they are, I didn't how successful and awesome they are.
I saw what they stand for.
That's what made me join.

Why I chose to join BWC.

I chose to join BWC because they seemed to have everything that I look for in a gaming company. They appeared highly organized and active. At first glance, it was obvious that I would always have an active community of gamers to play with. It also appeared that while they craved more active members, they recognized that real life came first. It really looked like I had finally found the perfect home. Their application process was a little intense, but I've come to realize that most good gaming groups have to intensify their application process to weed out non-serious applicants and to ensure the quality of members that they recruit. A good solid recruitment process might be a pain for recruits in the first week or so, or might even seem daunting at first, but it is absolutely required in order for a quality group of gamers to continue to maintain a high quality of membership. I submitted my application and dove right in, eager to find out what kind of gaming company this was exactly.

why I chose to join BWC:

I initially joined BWC as a part of the mech warrior online beta as I liked the organization, atmosphere and team spirit. Since then I've branched out to multiple games supported by BWC including planetside 2 and star citizen. And if you have any other game you're interested in you can always post it on the forums to attract like minded players who want to join in. There is a vast array of organization behind the scenes in BWC, and a lot of people put time (voluntarily) into making sure everything goes smoothly. you won't find a better example of how a gaming organization should be run than BWC.

[indent]Why I chose to join BWC

I chose to join BWC after suffering multiple unorganized and groups that membership in the games I enjoyed dwindled to the point I was a lone-wolf with a group logo. After researching and seeing posts from the BWC, I became very interested in joining them.

BWC has a large membership and I expect I will not be a lone-wolf again.

Why I chose to join BWC:

BWCs recruitment thread looked very active and thats always a good sign. Then their way of doing things was something new to me, a civilian but ex "sort of" pro gamer (be4 there was actualy decent money and public awareness in it :D)
I have been in clans and even let some for several years but we always were rather small groups with a relativly relaxed command style.
Well this time I wanted something different and BWC sounded cool!

I joined BWC because the met all the thinks I was looking for in a gaming community. I first applied at another comunity and they said I was too hardcore. I laughed because they were surely joking, but they were not so I laughed some more. After that the BWC took me in and I never looked back.

Why I choose to join BWC:

After checking a variety of recruitment threads BWC just jumped out to me. The main point that grabbed me was the idea that BWC would be open to multiple play styles and be team oriented, this made me feel like I could fit in easily for the benefit of a team. There was also little things that, to me, were what separated BWC from the rest. These included an application, made me think they were serious to take the time to go through that process. They also have experience as a gaming community from planetside 1.

Why did I choose to join BWC... This one is rather simple, actually. I had a couple friends that I heavily played SW: TOR with, and they got me into Star Citizen. We'd been looking for a SC team to play with for a number of reasons, and they'd found BWC. Really, there never was any question where I would go (I'm nothing, if not loyal). If they were going to go in BWC, then I would do my best to join as well, as long as it seemed like a group that reasonably matched what I looked for in a team. BWC exceeded every expectation I've ever had for a team! The thing is that while they have drifted away from gaming due to RL things like finding gfs, etc and our schedules all changed, I have stayed, and in fact have volunteered to help out even more with the guild!
