Bump for a question...anyone know when we should be getting a link mailed to us for the Founders Program for the Aug 7th beta release to founders?

My guess is on August 7th, or within a few days after if they do it in waves.

I would kinda hope that they dish out the keys / client download link a few days before so we have time to get the download done, but as it's still closed beta and not an official "release" I don't think it will happen.

Sounds good, looking forward to your app, although you've posted here enough and seem sane so you're pretty much guaranteed entry. Just send me a PM with your e-mail address when you're ready, and I'll get you all set up.

It's come to my attention that there may (or may not) be some issues with permission groups on our forums. If you're one of us, and you aren't able to view the private Aces' subforums within 24 hours of registering, send me an e-mail or PM me over there and I'll try to get things straightened out.

I like your signature Jace, do you think the Legendary Founder pack is worth the extra cost?

Not in my opinion, that's why I just went with the Elite one. Legendary gets you the same amount of in-game credits and stuff, just access to all 4 founders mechs instead of one. If you have the money and that's worth $60 to you, then go for it, but I'm trying to stop blowing tons of money on videogames, heh.

What about early access? Is that all the same for the three packs? I checked those links the first time I saw them up but now it just makes me sad 'cause I have no change.

I'm pretty sure it's the same for all founders' options, not 100% sure though.

Yes early access is August 7th for all founders. Unless u r one of the lucky ones who got into beta. Then u should have a huge approved in ur beta test pending spot n they say clicking it will take u to ur forum profile with instructions how to download the client.

Have I'm sending u my e-mail now :-)

I think it's when they r going to start testing the match grouping to play with friends and merc groups as units or teams.

Jace I'm sending u my e-mail now :-)

Weird how that posted lol didn't edit right. Probably my fault lol anyways...also each level of founder marks ur account as premium. 1, 2, 3 months respectively. Man what does premium mean for mwo? How much will additional months cost? And how pissed are ppl gonna be if it means u can play for free in pugs but if u want to run in a lance or star with ur merc group ur going to have to pay for premium? O.O

I'm guessing one thing for sure. If ya want to play a clanner ur most likely gonna have to pay to upgrade it account to premium. Just a hunch :-D

Will be interesting to see what Premium gives you other than the XP and C-bills boost.

Hey everyone, I saw your interest in more pilots and thought you looked quite interesting and would like you to consider bringing me on board.

My experience with MW starts back with MW:2. I really got into lone-wolf online play with MW:4V, I was initially focused on long range artillery but later moved into more of a "center" role, I now focus on medium range support with heavy or assault mechs and occasionally will move in close to help out lighter mechs when needed.
I also will engage in linked battle pods with the company BattleTech when ever they are around my area for conventions.

I have some experience in TF2 and a ton in Battlefield 3. From my experience with BF3 and MMO's like WoW and EverQuest 2 I am very versed in operating as a team and I am sure I would make a great addition to yours.
I get the feeling you are a great bunch and would be great to play with. I feel I would work best in Heart Division. And as a heads up I am from the Chicago area and operate in CST, but I frequently stay up quite late.

Thanks,

Chitect
