Also developed the comm and macro systems from scratch to be much less abusive of the poor box we had to run the 3056 system

Anyway, saying hi and remembering old times.

I've pretty much always been known as well.. Ard aka Thardon Helmer...
Good to see some real old timers (those who played 56).

Basically it has been so many years for me since my battletech fascination.. i am unsure where to start... i have played ever MUSH/MUX variation i can think of.. and i remember on one of them i got a custom mech that later got nerfed for being too good... it was a hatamoto chi-TAKA variant... and if i wasn't using that my favorite mech to use was the Black Knight. BL-6b-KNT and also the BL-7-KNT if my memory serves... i loved using the axe in melee.
I have now recently finished an entire collection of all of the battletech books from the tabletop and also from the novel series all the way up to the new mechwarrior darkages books. (including the first edition book for the original tabletop rpg called battledroid.)
I have been a crazy rabid fan for many a year.. since the game called Battletech:Crescent Hawk's Inception came out.. i think in the late 80's
BTW its quite fun }

I have fond memories of getting punched to death in alot of combats by Jaime Wolf.. in some lighweight mech i forget the name of oddly.... but at any rate.. it is great top see all of you again.
I went by other names but the one i used last was Takashi Fuchida.... Alias Taka
See you all on the field.

Hooo... leeee...
THARDON!!!

Grixley Pryde is watching here as well. Really awesome seeing some of the old names floating around.
So are any of these still running? Did some hunting, and the only one I can find is Frontier Lands, which seems effectively dead whether the server's running or not.

CSV on 56, played pretty much everything else between that time and when '30 went quiet.
BTW, CSV beat WD fair and square on Blair_Atholl.

You guys have better memories than I, because I can't even remember what my handle was, let alone other people. Oh wait.. it was Cujo! Crazy how that stuff comes back to you even though you haven't thought about it in forever.

My suggestion at a name would be Mobile Unit STAR. Thinking about the MUSE and MUX name suggestions had me realize that ol MUD players like me felt left out

Mobile Unit STAR = MU*

Which stories were they, the zit ones? I had a few others... let say my colllege years were... interesting... I did live though and graduate... somehow.
3065 is still running, but no one playing really. It a revival of the old 3065 sim site Tarien/tji used to run (the old web site is still up http://btech.home.xs4all.nl/ Darn we look young) The addy is btmux.com 3065. I *think* I am still a wizard on there but cant remember my password. Didn;t matter anyways as I didn;t know any of the wizzen commands and none of the other wizzen would tell me any of them. I *knew* @nuke, but they disabled it after I tried it out a few times.... Oh, @Ard works!!!

Frontiers is still up I think, http://frontiermux.com
3030 may be down...

3030's up, but there hasn't been a scenario running for years and years, a few of us just hang out there and chat about sports & movies and coordinate other games.

I started out on 56 in CSJ as Shar Grozniy and at some point became the 2nd or 3rd Artin Spaunn. After that I stuck with the alias groz and played around on most of the various MU*s that came out. I still idle on 3030 these days along with a few other folks I see have posted on here.
Good to see so many old names though. It will be funny to see how badly we all get our ***** kicked by younger folks that still can see well and have youthful coordination. Kanji will be passing around hits from the metamucil bong once the party gets started.
