They must have changed the Ravens. They had been reduced to the computed cap (175*1.4)=245 or the 3L (210*1.4)=295. You are saying the reverted it back to all of them can use a 300 again?

All of those don't seem to be calculating correctly.

FYI, the AS7-K is coming up with an XL330 engine when it comes stock with a XL300.

You're right, I am going to have to take a look at it, all these HS changes are killing me!

Probably tomorrow, after I hear word on whether the bugged EHS are intended or not.

That is just the engine that the sheet was saved with. It does not update the engine or stock variants when you switch, you have to do it manually.

I've been using your export/import string to pass configurations from one file to another. But it seems you included something else there:

Would you kindly externalize the EHS and DHS parameters in your spreadsheet? It would be cool if we could play with the numbers and find out exactly how changing the heat dissipation affects out builds?

After the last hotfix EHS are still 2.0 and DHS 1.4 (both heat dissipation per 10 seconds and heat threshold), so these should be the default numbers.

BTW:

AC10 has heat="3.0" cooldown="2.5 now.

I think it would need a ,0, before the a1 reference. I added in another parameter to pick up all the upgrades. Sorry about that should have mentioned that in the change log.

I was hoping to get some sort of Dev confirmation or the like. What do you mean by externalize? somewhere for you to input different dissipation values?

Looks like Engine Heat Sinks are functioning as doubles, at least the first ten are.

Edit: In game I meant, not in the spreadsheet

Indeed, my 30s, 1m, and 15m are all the same. And those are what I use to reckon my mech setup. I love this btw!

I use these to determine if I a mech is more first engagement effective or long term effective. The lighter the more (dmg/30s)/ton I want (if im harassing) and so on.

Well they could be all the same in theory. If you run out of ammo after 30sec of firing, you will not do any more damage after a minute than you did after 30secs.

But ya, they are messed up. I would have them fixed but work is killing me atm.

There seems to be some kind of bug with the crit-remaining-calculation. I was working on a Hunchback 4SP and got 4 crits left, with Endo-Steel enabled. I saved inside the document and loaded another variant ("Load Mech 2") of the same 4SP model which then showed me 0 crits left. I was shure there were some left before. And when I then loaded the first configuration again ("Load Mech 2") it showed 0 crits left, too. Remember, it was the one from the beginning with 4 left.

I then save and exit the whole document. I load it again and voilá, my 4 crits left are back. But only as long as I load up another config inside the document.

Sometimes it bugs out so strange that it shows me "-3 crits left" and the whole configuration in red. This was again for the config which has normally 4 crits left...

Hope my description helps in tracking down the bug. Just say the word if you need more testing. ^^

Thanks, the legs were just checking to see if the value was blank. When you load a mech it puts a "-" in there, so it was counting it as a crit. The effect was losing 4 crits when you loaded a mech because of the 4 spots in the legs (wouldn't happen if you actually had equipment in there).

the upcoming v1.73 has been corrected. Thanks for the find! BTW I am working on the code to clear the "-" out of the mech when you load, I think it will look cleaner.


Edit: Wow that was actually really simple. It makes me cry to see how easy some of these things really are with VBA.
