That doesn't explain why a mere 5-10 LRMs are enough to pop a mech, all his limbs, and his engine in one go, assuming the target has been moderately damaged.

Obviously LRMs now deal 7 points of damage per missile.

They probably never will do either.

Guys you know it would probably help to get it fixed with more facts about the bug and repoting it instead of throwing insult arrounds. :X

Despite the fact that i think Vassago you should quit MWO 2 days inclueding the forums because you seeme to need to cool of a little you are right, something is fishy here.

I am pretty sure i got blown up by a lonely missile hit while i still had armor on just a second ago. I didnt notice on enemy Mechs i shot so far tho.
Also in the earlyer posted vid its realy strange to me how the raven could go down that fast while haveing AMS and still armor etc....looked like what happened to me in frost tho im sure i had no one shooting lasers in my back.

I might try to figure it out later to send a bug report.

Please keep in mind game developers are humans too, they cant do magic in a literall way, unfortunately. :}
Also sometimes even a game developer needs sleep and food. They cant run on coffeein pills forever. :P

I'm pretty sure all of us have sent tickets already, we're just venting and trolling for funsies while we wait and hope the devs do something about it sooner than 1 or 2 weeks later.

Any internal section of a mech is destroyed from the first hit it takes after the armor is stripped. I saw it happen and decided it was time for a break. See you next patch.

Not an insult honestly.

Question from someone not well versed in the boardgame. How much damage are internals meant to be able to take.

Half of your max armor for the location. So even if they've reversed us to normal armor values, something's broken somewhere.

They pretty much vanished since the patch hit yesterday, take this for whatever you want.

Interal structure values are IIRC half of what the location's max armor value is.

in TT, an Atlas CT can have IIRC 56 max armor, so the CT internals are 28 structural points.

I have seen this happening to others and myself.

Took away the outer armour of an Awesome with a couple of SRM volleys then it just died. No where near enough damage to get through All armour + Internals.

Also happened to me, Mech died but the none of the internal locations were gone or even red. No endo-steel or anything on an Atlas, standard engine.

playing my jenner yesterday and i thought it was just me, but i took a few missles (all my armor was still yellow) then took a gauss to the back and instantly died, and i play my jenner alot and i know it takes a good few gauss to kill one so i was worried they nerfed armor or something. this isnt any better but at least other people are having the problem too. with LRM + Artemis nonsense and paper mechs the game is getting a little crazy

After some extensive testing, math suggests not a lot has changed, if any at all, but you're likely to perceive that there's been a huge change, due to better hit detection. This was all done by shooting different fatlases, however, and we still have reports of people dying mysteriously quickly to various things.

Right now, we're suspecting artemis and LRMs as the culprits, but that's not exactly easy to test.

I'm running a stock founders atlas (have been for 4 months) and seems like I'm dying quicker. One match in particular, my arm armor was yellow from a few med laser hit. That Atlas rounded the corner and we both shot, I was dead the next second. Strangest thing ever. I was behind cover (tall buildings) so I can't imagine getting hit by LRMs. And I have killed Atlases pretty quick as well sometimes but not always.

Ok, I know I said I'd post videos in a bit but turns out uploading still takes forever so I left it on overnight.

Around 3:26. This is my experience with internal structure. It still takes quite a few shots to actually kill, but it at least looks weaker than before.

My honest explanation to this occurance is improvement of the hitboxes. It's much easier to land all those shots where you tried, and now people are learning what that feels like after a couple weeks of ezmode.
