Guess I should pop in here since I've seen a list of names that missed mine and reminded me of the "Glory Days" of MPBT Solaris.

I was then SCol. BlacKnight the CO of St. Ives Armored Cavalry and put in charge of the St. Ives Compact, as it was back in those days. So many good times with Blackwidow, Mao, and Raistlin. Beck was in SIAC with me, man I miss all those guys... Archer, Hollis, Dark Rogue... lots of great guys that I hope find their way here. We all spent way too much time in that game.

I've played every BT game that has graced the electronic realm since then. Although I changed my handle after MPBT 3025 was put in it's grave too early.

I look forward to meeting new friends and reminiscing with old ones.

Pilot name: Karganeth

Background: Skill RTS and Part-time FPS gamer with a strong streak of flight sim; RTS games include the Spring Engine, Total Annihilation, Command and Conquer, and Supreme Commander. FPS games go all over the place, from TF2 to BF2 to Tribes: Ascend to a VERY small dash of CoD. I've flown in the FreeSpace Universe, Microsoft flight simulators of all kinds... and -cough- Starfox. -cough- I also enjoy F2P games because of both the business model and the ability to pay for only what you want when playing. I don't even know where WoT fits as far as genres go.

I chose to join Liao for a wee couple reasons:
1) Best House battle mates
2) I want to fight for the underdog
3) I see a pleasant lack of tightassness around here
4) All the members of House Liao seem like they would be able to form a plan and act it out
5) The smaller the group, the better

I have not much to offer in the realm of mech piloting experience. However, I have commanded them for many years in the TA universe, so I can fully appreciate their function and purpose in battle, and devise appropriate strategies for them. I have a definite gravitation towards rocket-type heavy assault mechs, as is evidenced by my username, so you'll likely see me in a catapult. (Also a TA/Spring Engine unit)

See you on the battlefield as soon as my beta clears or we hit release.

I should also mention that Capella was my favorite world/battlezone in FreeSpace 2, and would gladly fight to win victory for it.

Vermaxx. I've played pretty much every game since MW2 (including MPBT3025 for EA) and read almost every BT novel they wrote.

I picked Liao because honestly it's the worst faction. The ruler is always a person with some level of psychotic tendencies, and they're fanatically opposed to the paladins of the Inner Sphere: Davion.

However, I noticed that Davion pilots in MPBT were less willing to enter a numerically inferior fight than Liao; and Liao ALWAYS bounced back from any losses, so maybe digital Liao is in fact the BEST faction.

Background: I grew up with BTech, my older brother and father are also huge fans. I read the novels and was into the tabletop. played MW all the way through Vengeance and all of the MC games. I Was able to get on the beta for BattleTech3025.. but it never released. I recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan to find that MWO exsisted and am horribly siked for it...I sat around a lot ******** about having to play Neveron to get my Battletech fix... and now, reality has set in that we're going to have a BTech MMO. So now i'm playing catch up in every way possible on the forums.

Typically, I'm a clanner(if you couldn't tell by my pilot name) but my brother and a bunch of other friends decided on Liao, for multiple reasons, mainly for their heritage in lunacy and culture. Ontop of that we had fought for Liao in BT3025.

Other Games: BF3, GoW3, Madden12 (Xbox) Shogun2 Total War, Killing Floor, Warhammer40k:Dawn Of War, Warband: Mount&Blade, and Empire Total War

40k Nerds and BTech Nerds, go hand in hand I feel... Same type of loyalty and attention to detail. In Both realms.

All these post make me feel ashamed that I don't know more about the Battletech Universe. At any rate I chose House Liao, because I remember back in my youth with MechAssault 1 and 2, I suffered, bleed and fought for Liao with L.B.O. (Liao Black Ops) and will keep my eye out for the squad members that made L.B.O. what it was and I have not forgotten our rivalry with clan C4 I have my eye out for you guys as well.

I'm AL One. You can call me al, or grant me a callsign when I have proven myself in battle. I'm a jack-of-all trades but I'm interested in scouting as my eventual specialisation. I am happy to take orders, although I like to think of myself as being capable of independent actions. As a Capellan citizen, I am willing to lay down my life, my soul, my all, in service to our glorious house!

By the way I am kind of a rookie pilot but i have read almost all the battletech and mechwarrior novels. Played the games from Mech 2 all the way through mech 4, and the mechcommander games.. Missed out on mech assault because I never got an xbox, and played around on MPBT for a couple of months till it tragically shut down. I look forward to smashing the enemies of our house into the ground with the my fellow comrades!

Welcome all. Karganeth, Vermaxx, Aidan Furey, CHEDARBOB, G-Lizzle and AL one.

Karganeth and Vermaxx, we'e not the worst faction, we just mostly had the worst rulers. Quality over quantity is our creed and that's always a plus (even though we all need a bit cheaper mech to use, like Vindy, which is still top of the "bang for a buck" mechs).

Karganeth, try out MechComander 1/2, someone with RTS blood (I like them too) will appretiate the game (Also, the earliest top down perspective Battletech games were made by Westwood). And nosupernovas in our systems, please.

Aidan, don't worry. We have some pretty amazing mechs and pilots, too. Also, the skill needed to join House Dai Da Chi is frequently compared to Clan Sibko's. I think you'd enjoy it there.

CHEDARBOB, you don't have to worry, either. You will get to know the universe a fair bit if you stick with us on the forums for a while. I must warn you, however, that Mechwarrior plays differently than Mechassault.

And last but not least, General Liao and Al one, you shouldn't have problems finding something to do here. Jack of all trades version of fight is exactly what Vindicator was designed for and if those pesky Kuritans designing the game give it to us, we'll all fight in the same good at everything mech.

Background: All Mechwarrior games, both Mech Commander games, and tabletop Battletech since 1994 (first time in my language - polish). Some people can recognize me from MegaMekNET where i was Liao (and Marik from time to time).. I like rpg games (p'n'p too - last time i gming "A time for War"), good rts and turn based strategies. Playing World of Tanks and Diblo 3 recently.
Why i'm joining House Liao?
House Liao was always my first choice in BT universe. Strong willed, elitist, with great people in every game i played, and great mechs

We both have Stalkers. They get them a bit faster (just a little bit), but Catapult is ours for sure.
