But we both like to speculate, so no harm done... as long as we all agree that it's not actually concrete evidence in support of 3rd person views in games.
Good we can find common ground and agree, that the worlds most played video games have an alternative to 1st person view.

If we take World of Warcraft out of the game list. The numbers more than likely are still staggering. The games are just as different as apples and oranges. Yet, they all have one common feature "different camera prespectives". If you're saying this is mearly a coincidence.... you're probably mistaken.
