I don't know this person and i've never heard of this person but i think its safe to assume they are not a complete and total *****.
You've obviously never played EVE Online.
Mittens, a.k.a. The Mittani, is a pompous, conceited, self-righteous douchebag whose asshattery knows no bounds. He is the head of a group of losers in EVE Online who call themselves Goons. They are tactically inept griefers, and focus on the ability to blob their enemy to death (victory only through FAR superior numbers). Mittens was recently temporarily banned by CCP because of something he said, publicly, on camera no less, at the EVE Online Fanfest this year.
Did he take his punishment like an adult? No, he didn't...he acted like a spoiled brat, and declared a 'Burn Jita' event, where the Goons would occupy the busiest system in EVE Online, en masse, (and shoot any players they found there) in an attempt to overload and crash the server. I was in a W-space system at the time, but from what I've read, the Jita node of the server did crash more than once that night.
Another example: they tried to ruin the EVE Online economy by killing all the ice miners they could find. They weren't doing it for profit. They weren't doing it to get some good fights (we're talking defenseless mining barges here). They did it purely in an attempt to crash the in-game market, just because they thought they could (they failed, but they managed to screw it up pretty badly).
In Star Trek Online, they discovered that, if they invited players from the opposite faction to their bridge, these players could never leave. So, they did it en masse, and killed them repeatedly. It took two GM's getting involved to force them to stop, since they did not stop when asked. This was within a week or two of launch.
I personally don't care what they do in EVE Online, simply because it's EVE. You never trust anyone unless you live close enough to go smack them if they screw you over. You assume everyone will kill you if they have the chance, and you assume everyone is trying to scam you, until you can prove that they're not. That's just the way EVE is. The problem is that they bring this behaviour to other games where it doesn't belong.
Long story short, Goons (and, by extention, Mittens) play online games with the express intent of griefing the players. With EVE Online being the only game whose devs actively support griefing, it's obvious why they flourish there. I can only hope the MWO devs take quick action once the Goons find a way to start griefing the MWO players.
