Anyone else not able to display the main Smurfy page after updating Firefox? =/

Deathlike: The Phoenix package 'mechs are functionally identical to their C-bill counterparts, so I think it would probably be superfluous to give them their own entries.

smurfy, has Sarah's mech differed from the Jenner-D it is based off? I thought the hardpoints are the same across the board. I'm talking specifically of the missile tube count.

no its the same, except a different stock loadout and skin

Founders and the Pheonix pack mech variants

As void angel already replied, the founders and pheonix "special" variants are the same as their normal counterpart except they have a different skin and the bonus. thats the reason i filtered the founders from the beginning and the phoenix too.

i also thinking about a way to combine the champion mechs with their base variant too. but champions are a bit different, because they have a different stock loadout than the base variant.

i kept the Sarah variant in because i wanted to support the cause. i event linked to the offical donate page the time it was active. but if i combine champions with their base i probably will do that with the sarah variant too.

Hey Smurfynet,

Is there an option or possibility to have loadouts on an enjin.com forum?

Tried several things but no luck so far, we have a clan website at enjin.com and we would love to have your BBCode/Loadout sharing on our forums but there seems to be no way to do this currently, can you give me some help or information?

Thank You!

Regards,
RiSE

Hey Smurfy,

regarding the mechlab pages (e.g.: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...37c49a8ca1902f3 ).

I would like the direct link to the forum
("Discuss Custom Mechs" -> http://www.mechspecs.com/forum/)
modified or added to, in such a way that you can click on the forum link and go directly to the part of the forum relevant to the mech you are modifying.

Above I linked the page where I want to modify my CTF-4X. So, I want to look up how the other users modified their CTF-4X. I dont want to simply go to the forum. I want to go directly to the CTF-4X part of the forum without unnecessarily searching for it. In this particular instance I would need a button like: "Discuss [CTF-4X] Mechs" -> http://www.mechspecs...261&board=77.0.

Best regards!

I know that's the case. What I was saying is to add some signifying thing (an info popup) to say it has a "special variant" (Founders/Phoenix/whatever future pack designation). This isn't exactly useful for people that own them, rather it is for the newbies to understand that the (F) and (P) have a special meaning (C-bills bonus, and Loyalty bonus for the latter). It also will "clear up" how the mech tree works (Champion and Sarah's mech for instance share the same mech trees, same goes with the Founder's and Phoenix Pack).

What the cluck?! When I click on the website link, I can only see the Mechlab, but when someone else linked me a build in TS, all of a sudden I can see the whole site. Can anyone tell me what settings on my browser could be causing this?

Edit: oh, but only for the tabs I opened from that link...

Hi Smurfy,

Impulse for SRM2 and SRM6 shows at 0.19 while SRM4 shows at 0.11

Are those numbers pulled from game or manually inserted?

everything except price and missiletubes are directly from the gamefiles.
missletubes mostly too but with some manual process in between.

Then I guess I will have to ask PGI if it's a mistake as I see no reason why SRM4 only would have a different impulse.

It's hard to describe; basically, when I load your page, I get just the bar at the top, unless I go to the Mechlab, which works perfectly well (ooh, new colors! $\/\/337!) The other buttons work, but I just get a blank page between the patch selection bar and the copyright notice at the bottom. I've reinstalled Firefox, deleted all my cookies. Hrm... maybe it's Flash...

The insane part was that it magically started to work for a while for links I received from guildies in Teamspeak - but now those tabs are magically back to broken. I'm almost ready to try sorcery...

Hm quite strange, try doing screenshots <_< also i did not change anything in the structure on the page. only thing new is some google adsense banners but they should not do any harm. maybe some plugin which tries to remove them and removes to much?

i use an adblocker (disabled on my page) and noscript addon but i don't have this problems.

Yeah, I have Noscript, too - but it's turned off from your page... Maybe DoNotTrackMe...

Ah, now I see the issue - Firefox was trying to protect me. Basically, unless I turn Noscript on, Firefox will block all Javascript on the page. Which is, well, practically everything.

Edit: Of course, my 'fix' only works at the expense of nuking all javascript on the page - not a good solution. Are you using the Java Development Toolkit 7.0.510.13 on the site, by any chance? Mozilla's help pages aren't much help so far.

I guess the new colors are matching UI 2.0? I was used to Balistics in yellow. <_<

I'd hate to complain something about your work but... I don't like the color change. : /

Also, I would put the color back, because it would give PGI the wrong impression about the work they did on UI 2.0.
THEY need to learn from you, not the other way around. :)

PS: The color for the frame around the slots and section, that's ok. I don't mind that color. Just the weapon color that bothers me.
