That's what I'm seeing the Atlas D-DC entry showing. Are you looking at the (10, 6x2) entry on the Mechlab tool? If so, that's the number of tubes the chassis has:

All Battlemech locations which contain missile hardpoints have a maximum number of "tubes" in them; you can't fire more missiles at one time than you have total tubes. So, if I have (10x2) tubes on a 'mech's torso, I can fire 20 LRMs at once from that Torso, but 30 (via two LRM15s, for example) will fire twenty in the first volley, and the last ten about a half-second later. This is important, because your launchers' weapon cooldowns don't start to come back up until they have launched all their missiles - and because two smaller volleys of LRMs give the enemy more time to evade, and are more vulnerable to the enemy's AMS.

PS: Smurfy, you answered this question, but I didn't understand your response. Why can't the mechlab calculate Flamer heat/second?

Hey, Would it be possible to make a button that exports a mechlab mech to Json/some other format? I'm making a small little application, and it would be really cool if I could read-in a designed mech

Flamer has infinite heat production which means its never heat neutral, regardless how many heat sinks you add. So i exclude the heat from the calculation.

You can request api access or use the mechlabs internal url: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...834ab592421647f

Api provides more detailed data and you can choose between xml and json as format.

Smurfy, thanks for all the great work! Just donated another small amount to the cause -- very happy to support this great grassroots effort.

Doesn't it generate one hps? Even if it scales with the number of HS you have, or something, it would still be useful to estimate time to overheat - so I know what impact having flamers instead of medium lasers will have on my heat efficiency, for example.

I just pushed the phoenix mechs.
The offical website is not updated yet so the patch version is probably wrong and the images are also missing.
Also the shadowhawk has a bit of a long name in the translation files. i need to filter that too.

But i think i will push the new update tomorrow.

Your mechlab currently lists the Locust 3S as having 5x2 tubes in each arm; I can confirm that it is actually 6x2 (or at worst 6,5. It looks like 6x2 in the model but I haven't actually tried dual 6s yet).

Howdy there Smurfy. That's some solid work that you've done with the Mechlab site. Still is my preferred place to design my stomping robots. I have been dealing with a strange issues lately when I sign in on that site. I've noticed that on Firefox, Opera, and Chrome, the Smurfy Mechlab loads up just fine if I am not logged in. However, once logged in, and it says "Welcome Ysarric Lightbane" at the top, the format of the window changes. The 'No Mech Selected" button is shifted to the right side of the screen, next to the weapon/equipment vertical list. Loading up a mech puts the Critical Slot diagram at the bottom of the screen, instead of next to the Weapon/Equipment list, and one cannot scroll down to the mech diagram. Changing the zoom level and refreshing does not resolve the issue.

My question is, is there an issue with my name being too long, and thus forcing the mechlab to "wrap-around" it's set width parameters, and skewing the display of all the attributes that follow the title? If so, is there a way that I can change my name to be shorter?

(Screenshots displaying the trouble. First is the lab working properly with me logged out, the second is with me logged in.)

youre right, correct would be 6x2. i will change my missile tube detection again, and thinking about adding some kind of dynamic missile tubes to my mechlab too, because if you mount a LRM 5 to 20 on that baby you only get 5 tubes. but this comes later

i think its your long name combined with the mechspecs link that its simple to long on the top.
i will do some tests thanks for the report.

Shadowhawk tubes are also incorrect.

All CT and head missile slots are 5-tube.

Hey Smurfy, love your tool! My friends and I use it a lot. Just wanted to report that the stock loadout for the BLR-1G isn't loading. It appears to be a problem only with the 1G variant.

No, the problem is when you use the stock load out option under the tools dropdown.
