Found the new MechBay-Feature yesterday. Again, amazing work! Keep it up.

Awesome job with the online mechbay tool. I just made a post in my blog to promote your page. Keep it coming. People like you and your helpers is what this community needs

It's OUTSTANDING!!! The whole my unit is using it.

Thank you very much for such a great Mechbay.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but the Command Console is not listed under the equipment on the stats page.

Other than that, great work! I've always spent more time in the lab than in game trying to come up with unique and strange configs. Now I have the chance to do that without wasting a bunch of cbills!

Great work.

Don't know if this has been mentioned but if possible it would be great if you could show the cost of mechs/equipment/upgrades. And if you could add the mech skill tree options to see how they work out on a build.

It's really well done.
It should be added to the client :)

It's too well done (and still developing)
probably the reason why It's not getting pinned *duck*

wondering if you could add a radiobutton to include the 7.5% heat dissipation pilot skill in the efficiency calculation?

Very nice looking Lab you made there sir. I'll give it a tumble or two in the near future. I have some experience with testing MechLabs.

this website is the nuts!!!

question... when i build a mech there is a graph that shows maximum sustainable DPS... what is this and how is it calculated???

also, how is cooling efficiency calculated as well... does it take into account 2.0 engine heat sinks??

The cooling efficiency is the quotient of heat/s dissipation of the heatsinks and heat/s generated by weapons; so if you are at 100% you are heat-neutral (ambient heat is not accounted for yet), if you are at 50% your heat-sinks are able to dissipate 50% of the heat your weapons can generate etc.

Max sustained dps is based upon the cooling efficiency, i.e. max dps*cooling-eff: when you are heat neutral you can shoot all the time without overheating so your max sustained dps would also be the max dps of all your weapons, if you are at 50%heat efficiency you could sustain only half your theoretical max dps and so on..

ps: yes, cooling efficiency takes 2.0 heat-sinks into account.

Hi,

I am logged in, however, I get the following...

You need to be logged in to use the Mechbay

Sorry you need to be logged in to use the mechbay. The mechbay allows you to store your favorite mech loadouts in a list.

Posted Image

I wanted to change the loadout by removing a ML and adding a DHS in the LArm, but it won't save.

Thanks

I'm sorry if it was already mentioned, but is there a way to see the total cost in CBills for your current build?

Website is great, by the way, good job

Thats quite strange, you seemed to be logged in already and the "add to mechbay" button is not grayed out either, so It should work.
I've created an test accout and tried to reproduce it but no lock so far.. removing the ML and adding a dhs in the larm works for me too.

I suspect It might have something to do with the environment:
Which IE Version are you currently using, what windows version and any security software?

It has been mentioned before.. a lot ;)
The problem right now is that cbill-costs seem not to be in the game-files, adding them manually would defeat the purpose of an automatic always up2date app.
Smurfy is looking into it and I heard he got some great help from Snib, so we might see some progress on that front soon.

Hi smurfynet,

this tool is awesome, thank you very much for it.
Its rather sad, that you had to do "their" work.

Are their any news about including the c-bill costs of the mechs and components?

thanks!

Blark, not sure if it was asked before, couldn't find it anywhere: will c-bill costs ever be included?

SCNR ;)

I'm not sure, I'll have to ask smurfy.
You are the first person to bring up this subject so I can't imagine it has a high priority

Really nice work, my only problem is the Max sustained dps.
It's the max dps multiplied by the cooling efficiency, but if u have weaps with different heat, a cool weap f.e. gauss rifle, and a hot weap f.e. er laser, the max sus. dps is lower then the gauss could do alone. Since the mech is able to sustain the gauss fire, the max should considering shooting only the gauss continuously and occasionally shooting the er laser to fill the remaining heat capacity.

2gauss req: 3*2 hs, dps:3,75*2=7.5
Er large laser req: 24 hs, dps:2,12
10 hs mech have a max sustained dps: 7,5+2,12*4/24=7,85
Since the calculator takes alpha strikes it says it can keep up only 6,44

Sry if it was already mentioned, i have only read the first 3 and the last page.
