you mean like a table of all stats i display in the quirk popup?

my stat cooling efficency is quite simple percentage of heat neutral. basically cooling of heatsinks vs heat generation.

this is planned since a long time, i started some tests with the current drawing engine, but it was quite inperformant.
for my site redesing i started switching the drawing lib, in fact i already ported the maps display to the new library there.
and i will try to add this feature there.

Thank you for your compliments and for your donation.

Phil

I mean like a list for all mechs. Like if you opened it it would list the PB's slower deceleration (which AFAIK isn't shown anywhere) but also all the quirks from other mechs

Have you started using edgecastcdn.net for something?

NoScript just started picking it up at the smurfy site today, just curious.

I also saw their script on the youtube site earlier, but it caused the whole site to stop working until after a browser restart.

Sorry if this was asked earlier, but any plans for any Android or IOS app? That would be amazing to use on a tablet in between matches...

Hello

I love the mech builder but ...yes there is a but ... how does the 'Cooling Efficiency' as a % relate to the in game heat efficiency as a value from 0-2?

Rick

30~35% is about 1.3 heat efficiency, use that to guide you.

Why don't you just put in the point scale that the game has and just make it easier for the simple folk?

Hi,

THX for your great effort!
Smurfy taught me more about mwo than any tutorial.

I wonder though:

1.2.254 Weapondoors are shown
1.2.257 Weapondoors aren´t shown anymore

Any particular reason?

Don't know what is triggering that, but all scripts should be served by my server. (except google analytics)

not at this point but i'm trying to find time to continue on a some major code/site update, but its hard to find time for this project.

because the formula (at least the one the community figured out) needs some arbitray data which need to be checked and updated every patch.

Thank you, and yes the reason is they changed the way weapondoors are saved in the gamefiles and i was on my work chrismas party on the 17th and released the updated data a bit drunk B) and did not noticed it.

I updated my parser and rolling out an update as i write this.

Not sure if I missed it, or not, but under the Equipment List, C.A.S.E is not listed. I am sure I saw it in the Objects(?) game compressed file once... :P

because it is not so simple, aim for 40-50+% for easy heat management.

First of all, love this site/tool and really appreciate the work that hs gone into it!
I often use it on my iPad at work *cough cough* and it's still usable. scrolling on the engine list takes some ninja zoom-in skills though =P

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but was there a reason for Artemis info to be excluded under the Modules and Equipment section? I go back to the site to check on the actual figures of the bonuses from sensors/modules from time to time, and sometimes I'm not sure if the info on Artemis that I've found are accurate or not.

I excluded CASE because it has no stats, all functionality seams to be hardcoded. Artemis has stats so i added it.

I also added a Mech quirks list to the stats portion of the site:

Selected CTF-3D and got it empty so I clicked Load stock loadout but nothing happened. Tried with ILYA and it worked, tried again with CTF-3D, did not.

Hi, should work now, i know there is a problem but i don't really know what causes this. its a caching problem, which should be resolve itself after 1 hour. (it now works for me) i have my theories about this bug but i cant reproduce it.

With this update, I now clearly know the different quirks between every mech... especially the awful Pretty Baby. Thanks smurfy!

Some suggestions:
Arrange weapons in the info loadout by weapon type (perhaps with color coding and/or sectioning) and displaying the # of hardpoints there are for each.

I would also like AMS to be separate somehow, since it's not really an "Armament". Perhaps move it to Equipment and Modules along with ECM.

Also, how about an "ammo placeholder" for all ballistic+missile weapons (@ 0) when those weapons are equipped. This will remind people that they need to add specific ammo to their mech.

Here's an example build:
AS7-D-DC

In the Armaments section it would read like this:
Armaments
Energy 2/2
ER Large Laser [2]
Ballistic 2/2
Ultra AC 5 [2]
Missile 3/3
Streak SRM2 [3]

Something like that. Energy/Ballistic/Missile could use a different/smaller font to make life easier. Something like that would help IMO.

Last but not least, mechs that cannot use Artemis (due to lack of missile hardpoints) should have that upgrade option hidden.

about heat efficiency which you give in percentage for a build, around 80% on your page is actually above the maximum of 2 in mwo lab.

after doing my design on your page i settled on one less dhs because of this when I actualy tryed to build it in mwo.

it performed well even on terra therma in actual combat.

are there any gains for exceeding the maxim of 2 ?

yea, a Cooling Efficiency of around 50% is usally enough.

Hi,

first thank you very much for this invaluable tool and the time you put into it.

One suggestion: I notice that I often have calculator running alongside to calculate the number of salvos a certain number of tons of ammo gives me with the particular number of weapons that use this ammo. It would be great if the mechlab could calculate that automatically.
