Are you able to include them within the heat efficiency / DPS calculations?
+1
I was asking about this things on pevious page. Smurfy, can we hope to get proper heat efficiency calculations for all mechs?

Is there ability to EDIT (description)? I want to edit the <name></name> for XML layout. In a load out, it is practically the description of mech.
-Only way to edit currently is to save, open the mechbay, scroll through 50+ mechs, open the particular mech and click rename mech.
I'd like to see us be able to get the option to give a description to the mech or I'd like to see the ability to edit the description 3rd party. I prefer the first!

I'm asking because when I took a look at one of my past mechs in the mechlab the cooling efficiency was off. Specifically with this mech:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...d52eb1e513ae42c
The heat generation is 6.44 and the dissipation 2.00 per second. Which is correct given the weapons and number of heat sinks. So the cooling efficiency should be 2.00/6.44 = 31.05%
But the mechlab shows 29%.
Now either there is a bug with the calculation of the cooling efficiency, or I am missing something. If so I hope it is nothing obvious or I just made a small fool of myself.

Not sure what you mean. There are two AMS modules available.
AMS Range and AMS overload.
AMS Range gives you 2% to range and 2% max range (at level 1)
AMS overload gives you 10% ROF
Both modules are correctly displayed on my site.

Switched back to the old cert for now.
Edit: somehow firefox had problems with ssl stapling (OCSP) i disabled that for now and switched to the new cert again. tell me if there are still problems.

Smurphy's mechlab is still a great way to share builds but DPS/Cooling calculations are terribly misleading nowadays.
For example, DRG-1N 2xAC5 2xML has max 8.59 DPS ( 4.81 sustained DPS), when in fact using modules and quirks it reaches 21,3 (11,5) DPS. That's a quite significant difference ;-)

At first:
Thank You for your work so far!
Feedback:
I suffer when i look at the quirks overview. Not only at smurfy, it happens to be that way everywhere.
-> Why not line the quirks in a table below each other.
(Order: Tech/Movement/Energy/Ballistic/Missiles)
Now they are lined up in a row and comparing two chassis can be difficult.
And, why not implement a quick "compare 1 to 1" tool. That would be even cooler
Kind regards,
Nippon

The new Jagermech and Cataphract changes have altered the missile tube setups.
AFAIK... the missile racks look like this:
Jagermech-A: 20x2 (both arms)
Cataphract-2X:
Thanks.
Edit: The data supports an LRM20 (first missile hardpoint) and LRM15 (second missile hardpoint), but only enables tube counts of 6 (for SRM6s) at most for both hardpoints, based on the XML.

Edit: Oh, there it is... That was very odd - it didn't show up until I posted about it. If only other problems were amenable to this solution!
