The FULL Solution is posted here: [Fix|Updated]Poor Game Performance Solution{Nvidia/amd Users}

Issue:
Here's a Video to show the devs and inform the users as to why So many people, including myself, are having Major Issues(FPS, Clipping, Lag, Etc) Playing MWO with Patch 1.0.150(Nov. 20 2012)... Game Settings are maxed and Yes I have tried lower settings with no luck.

Note: As I'm a Computer Tech, All My Drivers are up to Date and I have tried reinstalling the game with no luck.........

Here's The Video:

Here are my Specs:

Here's a Video I made of MWO before Open Beta:

I'm not the only one having this issue, If you don't believe me then read here: Performance Feedback [Merged]

This game is in Major need of fixing and Core Optimizing... What Do You think?

P.S. All My other games(Which is like over 150 games) have a fps range from 60-120FPS With my Setup.

And you have of course tried re-installing the game, graphics drivers and direct x, and have submitted a support ticket and recieved a response telling you nothing could be done. And I am sure you posted in the support forum for help fixing this issue to no avail before coming to general discussion to share with us how horribly this game runs

maybe include a synopsis of what you want viewers to determine after comparing both videos? :D

Yeah, my setup isn't too different from EternalCore's and I'm still averaging 35-65 FPS.

I'm getting around 40fps....

I don't know why you're having issues. I'm running 550ti @ 1680x1050. Maybe update drivers? Otherwise if it was the patch, it'll get fixed. Everyone's pulling old man gramps on PGI because they were "promised"(? as if things are subject to change..) this and that, and that the patch is bad... give it some time. copy your dxdiag and e-mail to them so they can sniff out the problems.

Edit: settings are on high, but my shadows slider is at the min. I don't notice a difference with it on graphically, same with fxaa or w/e that edge smoothing stuff is called nowadays... too many abbreviations for me to care about - the point is, you know what I'm talking about :D.

Anyways, runs nice. I only got the 4fps bug a few times so far.

Well... that sucks. The best thing we can do is be patient. Take a break from the game for a month if you can't handle the low fps. Seems like you did all you can do to report it so it'll just take some time to get it figured out.

Peace!

I think the reason you're not hitting anything is because you couldn't even aim properly at a stationary target. You then overheated while overextended and got beat down for playing in a risky manner. While you did encounter the occasional overheat HUD bug, you were basically already dead at that point anyway and your mech just hadn't cottoned on to it yet. If your HUD had come back as it normally does then you'd still have died anyway.

Watch the video again and Notice the Frames Per Second at the Top Left of the screen...........

wow that sucks for you OP, I´m sincerely sorry so many gamers with nice rigs now can´t play the game anymore.
I couldn´t play with such a low fps, I´d rant all the time and ultimately delete the game.

btw. I don´t have FPS but graphic issues on Frozen City. The textures all around the tunnel got kind of transparent ?!? I didn´t have a look inside though, ppl tell a building is now blocking FC tunnel ?

PGI, please, such a performance drop without some bugs fixed ?? hows that ?? You better put on your diapers coz there will be a shitstorm !!!!! (i know i would make one)

@ OP, i guess you have win 7 x64?
I friend of mine have same issues but uses a 32 bit OS and runs out of memory.
Other Cryengine Games have same Issues suddenly started Usage of Memory.

I got a Logitech G510 and have readout of Mem and Prozessor Usage.
Cpu Fx6100 AMD
GPU 6870XFX 1GB
Ram 16GB 2x8 Gig Kit G.Skill

I run on Ice Maps on 50-55% CPU ( not ice Maps around 30-40%) and my Ram goes up to 35% (would be 5,6Gb Ram use)
I run in high and have no issues.

This would mean that your PC would run on the "secound" Bank of Ram which is normaly seldom used on your Rig.
I have by myself several Gigabyte AMD boards ( about 5 ) of the 700 800 and 900 series. I noticed that the 800 and 900 Series have several Bios issues with Memory support. I would recommend looking for a newer Bios Version, for X-com i even had to patch my System in order to get it running, since then my whole System runs better.
An other Problem could be that one of the Memory Cells of your 2nd Memory Bank is faulty. You won't notice it to crashes because Windows correct's it but it will slow your system significantly down when it is used, about down to 30%. You should run a Memtest86+ with warm Engine or 1 hour testing.

This would be some places where i would look into it. I can now switch UP my system and still have good performance. Compared to Beta (but i got a AMD GPU so maybe there were some patches included in Performance and i gained about 10% Performance out of the Bios Update)

As a computer tech, then you must be aware of the golden rule of troubleshooting: correlation does not equal causation.

EDIT: I'm not saying there ISN'T an issue, but c'mon, you've done a total of 2 things. Heck, you didn't even list the OS you're running.

You're getting about the same performance as I am on my ancient E6550 getting bottlenecked by my 5770 vapor x (lol).

Srry Eternal Core didn't saw it too. Win7 x64 Pro..

Would be nice if you look into the Memory Issue, i had heavy trouble with my Gigabyte boards,
which was fixed in the last (beta) bios.
And your Memory is NOT on the tested memory page at Gigabyte. Had same Issues got G.skill Memory which was nearly the same and it was troublesome ( they testet the slower C9 1333 Mem yours). You should have the FF Bios, especially because the Fix is a Be Quiet be Cool Fix... which may cause Performance or Memory Issues.

And 1333er Memory ist often 1666er Mem which didn't pass the Specs...so a Memtest86+ should be run.

It's only a guess of a Trap i fall into too often enough. System Runs fine and suddenly with more Memory used it breaks nearly down... but still plenty of mem free... Gigabyte have Issues with 4 Banks using till newest Bios ( But never officialy admitted it) and maybe one Module is Bad when under Heavy Duty and it passed the Check because most Manufactorer Checks don't do 1 Hours testings and the warmer a Memory Cell is the more likely to fail it is.
