Ask The Devs 26!

Posted this on NGNG for Episode #51 Community Questions originally, though I wasn't able to make it to the live recording to find out if it was answered. Also, I asked this in "Ask The Devs" 8, 9 and 24.
Preface:
The CryEngine 3 supports 5.1/7.1 surround sound.
Currently I’m having to drop my Razer Tiamat 7.1 headset into stereo mode when I play MWO… I made sure to contact Support to confirm that surround sound is not implemented yet, and it's not my sound card.
Question:
From a scale of 0 to 10, with “0″ being “post-launch”, “1″ being “launch”, and “10″ being “within two client patches from now”, when is full surround sound support -planned-?
Thanks!

In previous Mechwarrior games, those racks were separated from torso, as a independent part of mech and by destroying that part (mad cat's right missile rack for example) doesnť mean, that right torso is destroyed as well
edit: I don't want a ETA, just answer YES or NO

I'd like to see something like StarCraft's lobby.

I'm asking because if release order follows announcement order (and ignores the fact that PCGamer had the hgn-732 concept art before the flea announcement) that would mean we would have 5 lights but only 3 assaults.
That is their plan.....and a bad plan it is. Add another arm-less chicken legged light mech or a JJ capable assault that a ton of people want to pilot ASAP? Uh...we'll do chicken legged crap mech that only a handful give a crap about.
The Highlander is best choice for the success of the product...There was a poll...60% or more (70+ if you give it 1/2 the "I don't care" votes) want it before the flea at least...if not even sooner then that... Less then 21% voted that the current mech release schedual is fine .

I don't expect them to just quit on a mech that is halfway done, but whatever mech is barely started, or due to be started on next, should be put on the back burner in favor of the Highlander.

Hero mechs go through the same balancing as any other mech or variant. Yet it is true free-to-play members cannot own one(not even one that's a non-painted, non cbill boost, base model). Is that such a good idea? Won't with new hero additions, the variety of tactical options a paying member has over non paying member become more and more noticeable? [This could effect the mechs a team chooses to support each other in competitive and organized play, with free to play simply having less options.]
What about refilling ammo? Currently the player pays for ammo resupply. Yet, a member with some form of cbill boost will be able to wield ammo reliant builds much more easily. Is this fair for free-to-play members?

Bryan Ekman answered this in a thread shortly before open beta. I can't find it, so I don't know if it was deleted, but he said it would never be on Mac. Microsoft only gave permission for Piranha to develop a Mechwarrior game on Microsoft products (Windows PC and Xbox).

Paul did not mention the weapon in the weapon balance thread, so it got me wondering.

For example WOT, you can restart your cilent and log on.Then go straight to a loading screen to get back into the game you were dropped from. Sometimes you have already died, but other times It can be a rage saver

I'm asking this because :
a] Stats, XP, MC, C-Bills won't reset anymore
b] Game can be played by all, no beta limitations
c] MC charging (payment) is already on place, so is refilling MCs.
d] You plan to add new content constantly no matter current state of the game anyway (beta/released)
It seems to me that game could already been called Released because there would be no change whatsoever between Beta and Released, only word will change (bugs will still appear in Released status also).

How about public test server so there would be larger 'sample size' when testing new patch, like something similar to what WoT guys do?
Do you have plans for hotkeys assigned to some basic commands/responses etc. ("Enemy spotted", "Attack my target", "Fall back", "Roger", "Negative" and something like that)?
Are we going to have destructable environment?
Any plans to change/fix zoom module to make it actually usefull (like 1.5 - 2 x current zoom level instead flat 4x)?
Can we expect some changes to convergence system? Like manual setting or makeing it fix on distance to current target.
Do you like current XP and money reward system and is it final or are you going to change it somehow?
