What kind of system should PGI put in place for players to report bad behavior such as suicide farming, team killing, in game harassment, ect. ?

  1. Place a report button beside player names at the end of the match so that players from both teams can report problems instantly. (121 votes [71.60%] - View)

    Percentage of vote: 71.60%

  2. Place a button in the hud that summons a PGI moderator to spectate the game and view the situation as it is happening or has happened. (9 votes [5.33%] - View)

    Percentage of vote: 5.33%

  3. Keep it the way it is, but with more enforcement. (24 votes [14.20%] - View)

    Percentage of vote: 14.20%

  4. There is nothing wrong with the current system. (6 votes [3.55%] - View)

I hope we can get some good ideas with this pole. I know many of us are frustrated with some of the behaviors we are seeing consistently in drops. Even if you don't like the very basic options given in the pole... Hit up the comments with your thoughts.

This isn't about hurt feelings Cobra. This is about improving the experience that everyone has in game. This includes everyone!

the ability to report at all times throughout a match is a must, also the ability to view the results of your last match would help too

Having in game reporting buttons would be nice; but I'd worry about it being abused by trolls and the game masters being inundated with nonconstructive information.

I've sent all of two reports to support over the course of playing this game. Both times I received a reply within a day that made it at least seem like they read them. On one hand the lack of transparency in the rule enforcement department is frustrating, on the other hand I appreciate their attempts to keep the drama down and stave off witch hunts.

I agree that the report option could be abused for trolling... But... If implemented it could also be made an offence to falsely report players.

lol. If PGI won't stop him, the community might. I have no problem with this until the Devs actually punish those that do.

In game button that you can access during the game. Should be allowed to indicate if it is a TK, abusive or bot. Stats made public and once you get nailed to many times with screenshots, too, you're taking a break to consider your evil ways.

They have a post pinned about this. http://mwomercs.com/...-shame-threads/ .... We are not allowed to single players out on the forums by name for any negative aspects. If you don't remove it a mod will later. Just trying to save you some trouble :D

I know people bring up LoL more than needed on here, but thye have a really awesome system. You can report people for a variety of things after the match is over, and there's a box for comments. It's quite easy to do. If you end up getting a few reports, it goes to an anonymous "tribunal" where seasoned players can review the chat log and reports and decide if the player deserved the report. Sure, it's probably not always fair, but each "case" is shown to a bunch of players and the majority wins the decision. In this way, they can process obscene amounts of reports without bogging down their own staff.

Looks like this:

now the name has no negative attribute or any report on inappropriate behaviour.

And I don't find anything about telling the truth in the Code of Conduct.

I'd like to see a "Never drop with this player again" button one can click at the end of the game, anytime one clicks launch the match making system checks your list and just doesn't drop you in any game in wich a player whom you've clicked "never play with this player again" is playing.

I think this would be the best solution because it would require no oversite by PGI staff, and the type of player who would make false reports out of pique will find themselves facing longer queue waits, in effect only making the game worse for themselves with each inappropriate click of the button, and would in fact punish problem players by eventually forcing them to only drop with other problem players, now that's what I call a "Just Desert" :D

BalzOut

EDIT: Not my Idea, I stole it from somewhere else on this forum.

Big issue there is reports are frequently made against people for many reasons that aren't actually problems. I actually went to tribunal and was given a temporary ban for "feeding" before my first week was out. That's right, unable to play the game because I sucked. Not the best way of doing things.

I take screenshots and send e-mails to support every time I see someone who is TKing, self-destructing, or zero rearm/repair AFKing.

I have heard of people doing this a lot.... but this is a lot of effort to ask most of the player base to do. Most will just let the problem go rather than to go through all the trouble. This doesn't help the community. I think there needs to be a simple way built into the game so that players can easily report problems.... thus making it more likely that problems will actually get reported.

They shouldn't do anything to the players until the system is corrected to not reward players for doing nothing. Right now it isn't grieving, despite whatever you want to call it, it's just efficient farming. The problem is that this reward part shouldn't be there. The game shouldn't reward you for showing up then doing nothing. Whenever they decide to fix the extremely broken economy... THEN you could logically work towards punishing whatever players continue to do it.(Most would stop AFKing or suiciding immediately once the rewards were pulled off of it)
