We have resources working to improve the networking, performance and technical issues. However these issues do take time and require extra testing to make sure we aren't creating 2 new issues by fixing one. Edit: AND Matchmaking phase 2 is in testing and barring any major issues should be out next week.

Better do this quick. My whole friendlist is offline since 2 weeks.

Rock on! Glad to see some more detail in the patch notes. Looking forward to next week's patch and matchmaking changes.

I don't care if I get flammed, but I think you guys are doing a great job. I'm still enjoying the game as it is and as it changes, and I'll be happy to keep playing. Working with CryEngine can't be easy, and throwing this franchise at it is a huge commitment and puts you guys under a lot of pressure. Just want to say how much I appreciate someone stepping up to put out a new 'mech game.

The MC will not be resetted again? So they are definitely gone???
I can't except that. Was it written before? Last time they were resetted. Could someone please confirm this? I wouldn't have spent my MCs like this when I would have known that they are permanently spent!!!

On "paper" this looks like a pretty nice patch. I can't wait to get home and check it out. Has anyone found any undocumented changes yet?

I don't think it says its a "new map" anywhere in the patch notes.

As for everyone saying "underwhelming"... You say it every patch... Maybe you should lower your expectations a little eh? Jeez... Some people won't be happy unless we get a new mech and a whole new map every week.

I dont want that. i want them stop wasting time for cosmetic changes. For me it is beter to have one brand new map (even if it will be low poly desert map with few rocks) than 5-6 with different ilumination. And perfomanse rollback.( if it works dont fix it )

Finally PGI approaches us as players and not as money bags. I really like the way the patch notes are written and this even takes away the irritation about not having everything fixed.

See link below:

http://mwomercs.com/...k-on-open-beta/

"Beta launch will represent the FINAL data wipe, therefore players will be starting over one last time. This also means that all of their MC, if they have purchased any, or the entirety of the Founders rewards will be reimbursed completely: therefore you get to choose when the time is right to spend your MC currency."

It's just the lack of communication about such issues is frustrating.

Indeed. Just a little "We're really really doing our damndest to figure out why the HUD sometimes goes nuts at the load-in screen, ceases to function, and plagues you with a yellow filter of death."

(You can get rid of it by disabling the HUD, but then you have no HUD functions, like visible target locks or crosshairs, or map data, or paperdolls, or weapons grouping)

Memory, if you read the roadmap like everyone else. You would have know that theirs a 80% chance of it being implemented next week. This is not new info...

Its your own fault for expecting it this patch.

actually it was supposed to be in LAST WEEK but the only thing PGI has been consistent on is the delays.

Probable reality of the update process:

Bossman: So, we've got feedback from the last update now. Here are sme problems that have crpped up, these ones are small, these ones are big, these ones are priority.

Programmer guy: Okay, I can probabaly spend a half hour a day banging out some of these simple ones. They are most likely just quick fixes to oversights anyways. Some of these big ones wil have to have their sources found and tested though, obviously.

Bossman: Sounds good, keep me updated.

What the whiners wish it was:

Bossman: WHAT?!? you will absolutly NOT fix those small, pointless, bugs! you will spend every waking moment on the HUGE ones only!!

Programmer guy: but...like...this one for example...i fixed it in my head alr*

Bossman: NO, NO YOU! You ill shut up, and fix the important things! Also, get that art guy down there to help you, he's just making useless bobble heads anyways. He can figure this code out. DO IT NOW! *flips table at programmer*

Programmer: uhh...but...

Bossman: Also, wear this live feed webcam headband...every must know everything you're doing at all times...make sure you narrate, so the community feels adiquatly communicated with! and get me another table!

So they still don't change economy to reward playing and not just clicking on start ? I guess suicide into the enemy team is REALLY the way this game is intended to play. No one will make me believe it takes months to change some number in a database.

Ah I do remember you now.. Sorry you haven't posted in months, so I forgot you existed  Did something change with the way the patch notes are compiled with this patch? They are a lot better than in the past (though I wouldn't be surprised if there are still some undocumented changes ;))

I have been off the forum for some time but I am back.
We are working to improve all of our processes. Even the patch notes! Thanks for noticing! : )

No! Fix the minor things! We can not take anymore blurred screens after we died in combat where we were not able to aim good because of low fps appeared after last "big patch"! Fixing minor things is very important! And bobble heads are all about giant robots warfare! So hire more art guys they will make money from air! And shoot that programmer guy until he makes this game unplayable even with highend PCs! ;)

4 all intensive purposes another WASTED patch, time, and effort to a game that needs major fixes!

I have invested time, money, and hope in the off chance that PGI gives return on a viable product; now I can't even play the game as of two patches ago, but b4 that game was fine..........

With every so called fix comes more and more ******** bugs.........you ask for patience and time, but what shows me that PGI deserves either? Get with fixing the game play and screw the *** *** content, paint, hero mechs, and etc.......you got plenty of monies from the founders to release a viable product, but all I see is more and more money sink, really?

You are quickly losing another cash paying customer in your so called F2P game!!!

The camo spec thing is truly crap. Craptastic even. I don't want some other guys paint job on my mech I want my own. I know this is possible code wise because ive played armored core way to much. You guys missed a huge opportunity here to sell us paints and camo patterns. You would have made a killing. I for one will not be buying a single paint job done by some forum nerd that works for you now. Is it just me or does it just get worse every patch? Is pgi secretly being run by soe?
