Orion would mean you have a fine mech with a good mix in his arsenal, make him ideal as combat heavy (because we already have 2 support heavies). Grasshopper would maybe bit limited in his mid range arsenal, but yeah would be nice too... can't decide....

Looking at the list, you could break it down into what was supposedly a standard for the House Armies.

Kurita- Jenner
Lyran- Atlas
Marik- Hunchback and Cicada
Davion- Commando and Centurion
Capellan- Catapult and Raven

The Awesome stymies me because I don't really remember who had the most in according to the T.R.O's

Going by this, I would say we're due for something along the lines of either the Zeus to even it out for the Lyrans, or the Mauler for the Kuritans. Yes, it'll make our list kinda heavy, but in the end the bigger Mechs rule the battle field.

When it comes to the Unseen vs. Reseen, I believe PGI should make a poll as to which of the Reseen mechs most people would want to be put into the game and state very clearly that it will be the Reseen and not their Unseen counterparts. I can tell you right now that the Reseen Marauder will most likely be the first do to the fact that it's in actuality a very cool looking mech and I see more people being perfectly fine having the Reseen Marauder in MWO.

If the pattern of release continues mech 11 should be a heavy, and I think it should be the Marauder or the Warhammer. I think it is also very important to many old timers like myself that they base them on the unseen design and not the reseen. Choosing one of these mechs would certainly create some huge buzz among forum members and those not yet active here.

This is a Classic Warhammer.

The problem is simple: the MW:LL not making profit, it's a third party Full Conversion. In the light of this, you put this model into the MWO, and the Harmony Gold send a nice mail about how they sue PGI, if they won't pay for them. :D

every day I read ten or more time about how we cant have this or that becose Harmony Gold.... these IP owners thing,I just want to punch whole harmony gold in the face, like they dont have competitive battletech game, its not like they will loose milions of dollars becose people will have these mechs designs in MWO..... their just sitting on their rights to these designs doing nothing but preventing us to get them

the MW:LL not making profit

Thats not accurate, lots of ppl profit from MWLL
MWLL team - donations
Crytek - ppl buying crysis just to play mod
...

So no direct profit

Redesings can go well:

Well, here's my prediction/wishlist of 'Mechs.

Heavies:
Orion - Good balance in tonnage to the Dragon and Catapult, but very ammo dependent
Black Knight - Pretty much a smaller Awesome with a greater short range punch.
Cataphract - An all around good 70 tonner.
Warhammer - Same as the Cataphract, though more general, and I would love to see some new art for it.
Quickdraw - A little light for the next heavy, but very maneuverable and can work with mediums easily.
Thunderbolt - A solid trooper of the time.

Assaults:
Zeus - "Fast" assault with a good weapon mix.
Cyclops - Another fast assault that could be turned into a good command 'Mech for the game.
Banshee - A very solid assault with many variants.
Stalker - A good general assault 'Mech with many variants.
Victor - Jumping AC 20.
Highlander - Another mean jumping assault 'Mech.
Longbow - Missiles, missiles, and more missiles.
Mauler - Direct and indirect fire support.

And though I'm pretty sure it'll be a heavy or assault next, these are some light and medium 'Mechs I'd like to see

Lights:
Wolfhound - Love it or hate it, it's a good light 'Mech.
Locust - Fast and widely available.
Mercury - Same as above, though less available.
Mongoose - Excellent scout/scout hunter.
Valkyrie - Slow, but very flexible light 'Mech.
Spider - Greatest jump distance of its era, if I recall correctly.

Mediums:
Clint - Good 40 tonner that gives me the option to make myself an Icarus II if I wanted.
Sentinel - Not many like it, but it's fast and has a good long range gun.
Hermes II - pretty much the same as the Sentinel, a good 40 ton trooper.
Trebuchet - The Centurion's fluffed partner in crime.
Blackjack - Slow and steady, it's a solid 'Mech.
Vindicator - A very good trooper.
Phoenix Hawk - A good scout lance leader.
Cronus - A 'Mech that appears to long to be a part of the 55 ton trinity, it caries a good weapon mix for its time.
Dervish - The mediums have a dearth of missile boats at the moment.

Heh, this list ended up being longer than I intended, but the thought of what could be included got me excited. I just hope we get a good mix of 'Mechs at launch with many more added as time goes on.

I want the Stalker, with NOT STUPID LEGS and an actually central center of gravity. Also, the cockpit should be like a TIE Fighters.

I'm with ya on everything but the tie cockpit Zakatak that includes the firefly ref on your tagline!

Heh. PGI is in Canada. Harmony Gold holds the IP rights to the Macross/Robotech mecha designs in the USA.... Last I knew Canada is neither a territory nor a State of the US so......

Meh... It might not stop them (Harmony Gold) from trying and, depending on US/Canada treaties that involve patents and intellectual property rights or the game's pervasiveness due to being on the internet, HG might end up having the federal (both sides of the border) backing to do it. My guess is PGI will stay away from the Tomahawk/Warhammer (an other Macross/Robotech knockoffs) and go for others in the heavy tonnages.

But they intend to sell MW:O in America, which means it's still an issue (assuming anyone could EVER actually make sense of all that mess.)

As for heavies, I agree except you don't see the Marauder there. Forgot to put the Thunderbolt in my original post:

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Thunderbolt

Ran hot, but a lot of mech pilots feared it's arsenal.

All in all, any of those heavies would make a welcome addition.

The trailer warhammer is the far the best model in my opinion, it doesnt look like a Macross Mech but something comming from BT redesigns itself(yeah i love the WHM Lich model)

With the recently released Ciccada, I'm going to switch from my Mechcommander choices and choose based on Ciccada cousin, the MechWarrior3 Strider.

Thus my guess for the next mech will be the 75 ton ORION.
