My computer is not great, but it plays Diablo 3, and Skyrim just fine, even at high graphics... so I don't understand why I only get 10 - 20 fps on this game, even with the resolution and graphics turned all the way down.
Even the menu screen only gets about 22 fps, and nothing is moving on it! Something can't be correct in the code, right??
don't get me wrong, I love the game, but one day I would like to be able to play something other than a LRM boat

Yeah I do have a duo core machine, and it is 32 bit. However I have 4 MB RAM and a Nvidia 520: 1gig video card. I thought for sure it could handle it.
I also have a CORE i5 machine, and it runs worse than my other computer. Granted it has a crappy video card though.
thanks Wolf, I'll try this tonight - I've tried everything else

I get around 30-40fps most of the time. It was 40-50fps before the last patch

So I'll try your compatibility mode

Just wait for the optimization to go into effect and things should be a bit better. Although Crytek just put out the new requirements for this same engine on Crysis 3: http://mwomercs.com/...re-requirments/

Piranha Games choosed the wrong game engine for a online MechWarrior game with its huge maps and effects. How much people want to buy a high end PC that needs a nuclear power plant to run proper?
Piranha Games should have used a older, sophisticated engine like Unreal 3, UT 3 or source.

It took me about two hours of tweaking the user.cfg file and my video card settings to get 20 or so FPS....when all it would have taken is DX11. My card isn't geared to use obsolete DX9.
How hard can this be? Are there kids running the show backstage, or what?
Bring in some heavy artillery and fix the thing and fire the deadwood.
Not a rocket science.
