C-Bill bonus is good.
Should be interesting to see the new reward changes in action.

But do I read it right that with this new system it doesnt matter at all if you win or lose? That would be terrible.

Winners still get salvage which is still a significant amount of c-bills. And generally if you lose you probably didn't get as many kills, damage, assists as the winner.

Seems somewhat insignificant compared to the huge bonuses you get for being first on your team.
Now the best thing to earn money is to not help your team mates that are about to get killed, damage all enemy mechs and dont focus one, steal kills, try to get the enemy to attack your team mates and not yourself.

If you don't focus anything they might not die and you'd end up with a 0-8 and no assists. I'm sure that grazing a mech for 1 damage and running off will be the same as a 7v8 which will probably result in a bad loss.
We'll see how it turns out, but the more people that slack off, the easier it is for me to get a higher place and more c-bills, win or lose, so I won't complain.

Well they earn much less. In the end they will earn much less per game than now.
Also, you earn more money the more AFKers you have in the team, because your rank within your team will be higher.
In regard to AFKers the new system is very good.

Well I can tell you for sure that if 3 enemy mechs are coming at us, I will first shoot all 3 of them once before focussing one down. That way I will make sure to get an assist for every kill my team gets.

Nothing 1 laser sweep can't do in 1 second really. I don't have high demands in a pug game and it benefits me too. If people are gonna hit me for 1 damage then move to the next target, that means I'll live much longer while I focus them down. I don't really care about the rewards so I'll have more fun beating on mechs.
I don't know if everyone will act that way, but I'm looking forward to it.

Yea I was surprised they did this. I guess it cuts down on making quick money? If they wanted to limit it I would have thought they'd made it take longer to cap the base. Oh well.

So, does anyone know how they calculate placing in the game? Time to figure out how to optimize being first (since it doesn't matter who wins) lol

I believe that the winning team still gets salvage from the losers. The rest I'm not quite sure yet. Best to wait until patch day to figure out the rest. I'm sure the forums will be aflame again regardless of whether it's good or bad.
