To make Sweetfx run, copy the dll files and injector.ini into the Bin32 folder of MechWarrior Online. The rest needs to be placed in the MechWarrior Online folder. It will auto run when the game starts and you can turn it on/off during gameplay by pressing Scroll Lock. You can also alter the settings txt file during gameplay and instantly see the changes it makes (Just save the settings file, changes will show when you alt-tab into the game again).
It works! thanks a lot.
The lumasharpen setting is amazing.

Cool to hear that it helped you. At least I already made one person happy today
But be warned: Before you know you start enhancing all your games ...It's addictive!

Though the "brown and grey" WWII trench and artillery warfare color filters are good... for the planets that have been fought back and forth over for literally CENTURIES... But none of the current maps have had years of mech warfare happen. The closest one would be Caustic and even that still has trees standing...
Enough warfare and the battlefield becomes a blasted wasteland, full of grey and brown, because all the other colors are dead and buried in the months of fighting...
Until then, a more natural color filter should hold.
Why does Frozen City Night look so good? Because it fits the whole "stark and cold" motif without being a mess of brown or blue/grey or whatever washed out shade you want to apply... the sky with the aurora is effing awesome because it's colorful...
Honestly, Halo had great graphics... sure it was a bit on the "too colorful" side... but pretty much every area you were in was a pristine (or nearly so) artificial environment, so excessive pretty worked.
As it stands right now, the graphics are way on the other end... Somewhere between Blandsville and Blahton.

I get the idea of wanting various locales to look a certain way. Do it the old fashioned way and stop wasting time trying to make a broken wheel roll. The Cryengine just plain stinks for this.

The soft's default setting sets SMAA on 1. turn it off if you don't use anti-aliasing.

I will give it a try. Started the game today, but the basic graphics were a turn-off, so I will give yours a try.
Don't let the graphics ruin this game for you or the trolls will start their "graphics ruined MWO" topics and we all do not want that

for you saturation fetishists.
I have edited my config a little more to get the most out of it without MWO looking like a cartoon. Hope you like it.
If you need the configs, I can upload them.
For those in need of comparison:
First picture is vanilla
And here my config for colour enthusiasts:
Personally I prefer a little less vibrance and contrast, but I guess this is what some people here want?!
would it be possible to upload them to some file hosting site that doesn't have obnoxious limitations like mediafire?

My eyes thank you for this. I get eye strain from this game like no other and adding more color saturation and sharpness has seemed to help.

The forest scene seems more realistic on the right than the left. The city scene on the right has a little to much blue in it but is better than than the picture on the left. ^ I agree that wars and battles have been fought on sunny days. Granted some of the city's are bombed out or abandoned and should feel grimmer, but gray scale is not the answer. Forests change depending on the time of year even pine forests, depending on the weather, or if there are clouds. Its not just about the colors, PGI also needs to consider shadows. Games like WOW, Assassins creed, Splinter cell, etc. all not only have the colors right, they have the shadows right.

He was asking for you to upload it to somewhere else (like mediafire). Uploaded.net caps you to one download every 180 minutes.
Thanks a tonne for the settings, I'm using your preferred version at the moment and it makes the game look a world better.

Yeah this, mostly because at the time the website decided to not download the file but it thought I did so it told me to wait 3 hours to try again after it failed.
Anyway I got the settings and oh god it's so amazing PGI your dull brown art vision is terrible, these colors should be the default.
I'd forgotten what colors look like.
