I mean, the mech isn't even in the game yet, why not start complaining about it.
Sorry man, but we can actually predict such simple things. Maybe in another 100 years you'll be able to do so too.

Also it's beta.

Unless they left out a lot in the patch notes (which they usually do) I think now is a good time to take a break

No new map is bad
Reduction of points for Capture after increase of points for resources; that just sucks, sorry.
New Mech class, meh
Overall, just about what I expected. Nothing really worth getting excited about. Just another update for eye candy...

Wont be happening this patch.
Pitiful showing.
I have 5 month old hotdog buns on top of my refrigerator that arent as stale as this game is currently.
There better be HUGE ninja changes in this patch or the RHoD league will have ALOT MORE teams dropping than it already has.

I highly doubt you understand the complications of the "netcode" errors PGI has to deal with. Nor have you or any of us have had time to test the updated code they've implemented with this patch. So stop with the "Sky is falling" whine please, it's unnecessary and currently unfounded.
assuming they even implemented new code.

Locking streaks on jumping ECM spider will be extremely hard. There're no other ECM+JJ mechs around. Plus he's faster than any other mech.

Same here. Through i would have preferred to test it a month later. And test Trebuchet or something this month )))

Spider with ECM... ohnoes...
Hmm.. Interesting comment about "We will limit the speed if it is too problematic." I always assumed the Spider would be limited by the same top speed as all fast mechs due to the netcode speed wall. Is that not the case?
Might have to buy my first ever mech with ECM just for S&G's.

Locking on to a JJ mech is pretty easy, plus you do know that theres a speed cap of 140 due to code... so its not any faster then any other light mech. The Spider has taken the crown of the most useless light mech.

Consider that a friendly reminder before everyone gets riled up. It was a preemptive strike!

If you wanted us to not get riled up maybe you could have done something other than add a mech that bounces all over the map and has ECM.
Something like.....
The heat fix for ERLLs and LPLs.
The heat fix plus effect for PPCs.
Toning down of ECM.
Adding something that helps vs ECM.
Mechlab being usefull.

My buddy and I both broke down after a long period of being honorable and not running cheesebuilds and bought the most lagshieldy of all the lagshielders. He even literally named his Trololol. And it is.
It most certainly is...
I'm thinking of naming my Spider 'Tear Jerker'.

pgi gets a ten out of ten for implementing things that make us spend cbills or tries to earn them money.
They get a one for actual gameplay content.
Ill tell you this, its starting to look very depressing for actually having any kind of fleshed out universe. Community warfare on 4,6, 8 maps... Really quite bad..
I am almost always dissapointed by what i read in the patch notes..
MWLL on the other hand , their upcoming .7 patch seems to have 5 times the ammount of thought and effort and results in one patch that mwo has achieved in its lifetime.. Thats not an exageration.
Done by a bunch of dudes as a hobby..
mwll is going to have a 200kph solitare.. THe only thing pgi has that's 200 is ping for half its playerbase.
If it doesnt cost cbills, pgi doesnt care. 4 maps??? its a *&^%%$ map!!! its not rocket science... Its not as if ALL their other maps belong in the battletech hall of fame.. They are average at best.
PGI never misses an opportunity to dissapoint.
