Yes. By all means, I do think it is the government/business/insert3rdpartyhere 's job to defend us from our own ineptitude, illiteracy and general sense of entitlement, instead of actually standing by contracts and making people where their big boy pants.

Of course, being another "you owes it too me" entitlement post, I don't expect concepts of personal accountability to actually get through.

They gave us the option to choose when to start using premium time.

You made that choice knowing full well what state this game was in.

I think they have done more than their due in regards to this.

Note: My premium time remains inactive, due to protests over their current pricing and the state of game progress. But I'm not mad or posting thread after thread demanding I get my way OR ELSE.

And it seems strange how others just couldn't help themselves for some reason. When a LF states "they didn't know", then they lie and should just be ignored. All LF's knew exactly what the deal was. We were the reason the button was put in place in the first place ffs. Grow up, your embarrassing the rest of the LF's.

Hmm, i dont agree with the TS.
Personally, i dont really like the shape of the game now, so i have not yet activated my premium time yet.
Every now and then, i play a game to see if things get better, and i lurk on the forums, a lot

Its your own fault for pressing that activate button uninformed.


If they where to reset, that would be a slap in the face of everyone who did wait patiently for whatever thing they decided to wait for.
So, if you are serious about this, how about they reset your premium time, and add whatever time time elapsed in the mean time, to my and others their timer, if they did decide to wait.

I find the OP's sense of self-entitlement sad and pathetic. Not only does he was a reset, he wants to pick and choose what gets reset.

Admit it, the game is not unplayable, you just REFUSE to play. You are stomping your feet and pouting that something changed in a BETA, holy hell stop the presses. Free time, free C-bills and you sit there demanding more? I'm so sorry if you are disappointed that you don't get a trophy for showing up.....

The only thing you have done through out this entire thread is insult people like a spoiled child, used to getting his own way. Imperius, just take a break from the game and from the forums. PGI owes you nothing. Go away, play another game for a while, there's plenty of good ones out there (I personally split my time between here and Planetside2). Come back in a month or two, and I think that you will be shocked at the improvements. I remember I took a break for about a month and I had terrible performance (lucky if I got 15 FPS) among other problems, and when I came back, my performance was up well in the 40s, and the game felt so much more crisp and fun. Being ticked off on the forums is only going to get you and everyone angry at you. Just go play something else.

Since when did stats matter? No one else can see them, and I stopped boasting about 4.0 KDR a long, long, long time ago for that reason. As far as Premium goes, it's not going to do people much good when they can't build mechs good enough to get themselves past 1.0 KDR...

If they were to do a stat reset and premium time refunded, they would also have to reset MCs, and clear out the mech bays, and skill trees, with modules as well.

In the above case, I would have to slap you for suggesting this.

Slap the devs for taking the suggestion seriously.

And slap you again for every mech and skill unlock I have currently.

Seeing as people have actively been paying for items and time for quite some time, absolutely not. Wether or not it says beta it's not really much of a "beta" anymore and frankly if they did do that I'm sure a lot of people would give them the bird and walk. If money is actively pouring into a game for services other than a "pre-order" or "founder" then you can't call it beta.

I actually did not activated my premium time, and i am not gonna do it.

However, I have to say that a reset may make sense when we are talking about all the benefits are actually provided to the new Players (Cadet Bonus) and also considering HOW THE GAME EVOLVED since when we were in early Open Beta.

In the past it made sense to play Mediums and i Mastered CN9s and HBK, spending a lot of time and CBs on a lot of configurations.. for what?

Nowadays mediums are dead. I am talking about 8-man drops, not 4-man drops. As we know, 4-man drops are for PUGs with no interest in any competition on this game. Good for them.

However I am part of a Merc unit and my interest in this game is trying to be effective on "Premades" drops. the 8-Man drops.

However, what PGI Offered at the beggining was called Class Warfare (i guess) where every Mech class had a sense and PGI always supported that every single Mech will have a sense on the battlefield.

They have eaten their words and today only Assaults ECM and Raven ECM make sense on 8 man drops. You may put another couple of Heavy in the list, just in case you feel you are a bit "eccentric".

I would appreciate a Reset because i would use the bonuses and maybe the Premium to farm only what works in this game, and just trash all of those mechs I played and enjoyed so far, because of this broken game are close to useless now.

PGI promises are in the garbage can at the moment and this game is not the game I was ready to found 6 or 8 months ago.
