How Do You Rationalize Driving A Light?

I have no need to rationalize, nor justify anything to some forum troll. Why do you play a game you hate so much? Is it just that you really enjoy whining?

Nothing more hilarious than pegging a light with 2 20 point ballistic rounds.

This is why we cant have nice things. Someone says something you are threatened by, what do you do? You lash out and make puny attempts to insult them. If you disagree, thats great. Tell me why you disagree, explain to me how i am wrong. Educate me.
Nice try troll. Please getout this thread is now for talking about how fun it is to go 100+ kph. TIA.

I play a Catapult, an Atlas, a Spider, and a Jenner. I play the Jenner when I want speed and firepower, the Spider when I want to fly over the heads of enemy mechs. There are few things more enjoyable than playing a flying Spider well.

Let's discuss the various methods one can employ to make one's really fun and fast mech even more faster and more funner.
I for one use red paint. I've found that this drastically improves both the speed and enjoyment output of my Raven 3L.

Your opening post calls everyone who drives a light mech a 13 year old who wants to cheat. What nice things were you expecting here? If you start the conversation with an inflammatory comment, you'll reap what you sow.

Ahh but if you use the light paints then you can make it look like a lightning bolt. Flame or bolt. Personal choice.

Nothing wrong with Piloting lights for the most part, yes many of us will complain about ECM/Streak builds, but besides that, I've killed plenty of light mechs in my Cataphract and Atlas and never had a problem with them before. Yes, SOME people out there exploit lagshields but even that can be compensated for, if you know how much to lead a target.

I use pro hax and l33t skills to make my gundam go 300kph and clip through rocks. Also it has eleven streaks. And is made of gold.

Let's be honest with ourselves, I came to peace with this a while back, my cicada is.... a fat light mech. I mean it's just a little overweight but I still love it. If it went on a diet it could be a light but i love it the way is and i won't make it change just because my standards of beauty are misguided....
edit: My spelling is bad and i should feel bad.

I am tired to death of hearing about the almighty lag shield and how it makes me invincible, because let me tell you, it does not. I get one-shotted plenty by Cats and Atlai and just about any large 'mech with a good pilot. Key words: GOOD pilot.
As I have stated before (ad nauseam) is that small, fast 'mechs are MEANT to be hard to hit. I guarantee you when netcode is fixed and the big bad lagshield bogeyman (which seems to make trembling schoolgirls out of fully grown men) is gone, lights will STILL dance on the faces of assaults and slow heavies. They will STILL be able to stay directly behind Atlai, Stalkers, Awesomes and 'phracts. This is not an exploit, this is balance. A fast heavy or a medium w/ streaks and/or MPL will (and do) make problems for any light. Rock, paper, scissors.
That being said, the Raven 3L does benefit quite noticeably from it's combination of ECM, streaks and high speed, but there are tweaks in the works for ECM and streaks, the netcode is being worked on, and without that it's just a particularly slow, well-armed light.
I never post huge damage or get the most kills, and this is because I pilot my light scout 'mechs as SCOUTS (and harrassers, but never front-line brawling if I can help it). You'll most likely see me spotting enemies with TAG, ninja capping on Conquest (and fake capping on assault, but very few fall for that trick anymore), or sneaking up on assaults so I can give them some unwanted rough loving.
Just because some unscrupulous exploiters have made lights into bogeymen (*cough* [REDACTED] *cough*), doesn't mean that lights in general are unbalanced, or that everyone that runs one is a cheater.
In conclusion, I don't appreciate the OP calling me a cheater and lumping me in with [REDACTED] and other [REDACTED] that wil be all.
