Reserving judgement on the rest of the patch as 15mins isn't long enough to create a full determination of its effects.

As you and others still don't get this let me say it
The programmers who do graphics like this are not the same guys/girls who would work on netcode. So no time was wasted by making our new eye candy.
And the netcode did receive some tweaks this patch that people say have helped.

I couldn't agree more. Forcing people to watch repetitive scenes over and over again will burn our eyes out (IMHO)
Enabling weapon group modifications during idle would be super awesome.
