2) Exploits/Game mechanics that prize stupid and/or suicidal and/or egotistical play.

What I would like is an option for a paid account to help prevent the above from happening.

Please no. Elo was specifically, mathematically, designed for a 1v1 environment. Every Elo variant that games developers have devised for team-based games has been abysmal and resulted in fury amongst large segments of the player base who constantly feel they're being mis-matched (true or not). Many Elo variants result in players who can't play the game in any serious way unless they exactly replicate their optimal winning conditions, reducing the game down to a competitive exercise and destroying opportunities for teaming up with newer players. Even if correctly implemented it leads to the bizarre scenario of older players refusing to play against newer ones (regardless of skill level) and other statistical glitches that prevent people from playing the game how they actually want to play.
If you want to avoid players who you can't gel with, just don't join PUGs and play with friends. Unit cohesion trumps individual experience in a good team-based game anyway.

Non Premium Pilots who can afford to ride an Heavy again when they loose.
( think about it what this Implies: Dev will have good Cash inflow, F2P players will have to run lighter Maschines and need to learn how to scout, work for the Team etc. Less Assault Mechs in the Games overall, no need for Goldammo as the Play2win is to buy Premium for the Assault/Heavy's, Meds/Heavy will be Majority of the Mechs, because Assault's will get outmanouvered more often. etc)

- Hill humping and jump sniping without a serious accuracy penalty.
- Players using "nonsensical" configs, like the 7 ERLL Nova Cat in MW4 that would knock down anything in 1 hit, and shut down. Or the ridiculous 8 Minigauss Annihilator. Pretty much any "overly excessive boating" config. It breaks the immersion for me.
- Firefights that last 5 seconds. I want mechs dodging, weaving, taking potshots, brawling, ramming. I don't want 1-shot-ur-dead. Weapons reload faster and are more accurate then TT, so I support double armor.
- Everyone joining the Clans for cool stuff and for no other reason. The IS had more troops, it should be that way in-game.
- Everybody using a Lostech mech like AWS-9M, and being able to establish a net gain from it unless they absolutely dominate the field.
Yeah, cause modern militaries never use boat vehicles. Like old flying fortresses armed with tons of machine guns....Tanks armed with artillery, or missles (but rarely are the two mixed). If somebody is foolish enough to build a boat, they've got what's coming when they miss with their lasers and overheat, or run out of ammo.
One of the things that always charmed me about the mech games is that it really supports creativity in your load outs. I realize many people never bothered to play through the campaigns, but those who did know the value of rounding out a mech.
So long as they don't throw in golden bullets, or golden mechs, I'm happy to be back in the cockpit again.
