Well that's pretty much what you said. You can oneshot/twoshot every mech. Or didn't you? Surely your badass pilot skills will assure you are always in cover and you will overcome anything the other team puts up.
Unless you are the pathetic little troll you look like

If your going t craft scenarios so can i!
why dont we presume the A1 guy plays as well as you do.
It rarely happens, but if an A1 pilot is crafty enough to get behind me. That has nothing to do with the build and much more respect to that pilot. I don't run in by myself. I stay by my team or behind my team. I pick up every mech that they see as soon as it pops up on the mini map. I check loadouts during fights every chance I get, while I am fighting mind you, to alert my team to whats running around out there, and what should be focused first. If I am originally shooting an atlas and I see a splatcat, you better believe that I'm gonna switch to that splatcat so that i can take his ears off.
If you let any mech with a max range of 150-200 (yes, I know SRM 6 is 270m) get on top of you then you have nobody to blame but yourself.

Sure you do. Everyone is really impressed by your master piloting skill, you should take your MLG skills pro.
I've been killed by SRM cats also, but you don't see me crying about it. Instead, I got better. Try practicing and getting better instead of posting stupid GIFs and crying over mech builds maybe you can be a master pilot also. Then you'll see how foolish all you crybabies really are. It's not that difficult.
GGs everyone. LOL

In your previous posts you cite using cover as the chief reason that the blow your ears off argument doesn't work. Each of the maps have lots of area without cover for you to use that tactic. If you're afraid of A1's, don't waltz into a covered area, force the enemy to fight in the open, or one of various other tactics used to get around ambushes and ninja mechs. Of course, that would require your team to actually think about what they have and what they might be up against.

And you're afraid to let it go.
You're afraid your lack of skill will be shown to each and every person who runs you down when you don't have a mathematically superior mech.
That's not me at all. I have no sense of entitlement, and I'm offended that would think so. If you paid attention to my post you would know that I said I'm not good at it at all. I am a **** pilot piloting a good mech and I die a lot more than I kill. So my point is there is still skill involved. I lack that skill and am not afraid to admit it.

There is a powerful 90-point alpha and it can really hurt under 50m, but really the question is unclear: is this a 1v1 problem or is this just a teamwork problem? Usually teamwork solves this problem for me by calling in support to focus fire. It works 75% of the time, the rest, usually because teammates ignore my pleas for help and likely we get steamrolled as a splatcat dominates.

the same for the a1 hater here who's done nothing but spam his a1 in protest over the last fortnight showing how he makes one hit kills on PEOPLE WHO STAND STILL and RUN RIGHT AT HIM WITHOUT KNOWING HE'S GOT SRMS!
good a1 pilots get the surprise but in rumbles everyone rips their "i win" boxes off, {my lrg laser alpha gets rid of them in 2 shots} but most of the time with some competance you can get out of the way of half their missles and rip them up.

Because a A1 don't hit me when it is at 150m+ because then the Missles got a flight time of 0.75 sec. So the A1 is forced to fight against another mobile enemy at a range of less then 100 Meters... a range were their Ears are very vulnerable for a good shot.
Of course when you are sitting in your D-DC then they are a great thread and you should start shooting them BEFORE they are in effectiv SRM range ( 200 Meters ) Which might be a problem when you run a Shortrange lame brawler setup which also got only 2 Lasers and 1 Ballstic with a little more range....
But on the other side, EVERY Mobile Brawler will kill you.. and LRM Boats equipt with Tag...
So it is not theorizing but the Sixsix Cat is very bad against other mobile Mechs which prefer a good traversal speed to your launchers. Yes when you hit them they are dead, but a good chance hitting them requires a ping of 50ms or less.
Edit.:
And that why i said that ECM is the Problem on the Splattapults.
They allow to sneak in at 80Meters on Frozen City and Rivercity night. Giving them a clear advantage and make them shine on 4 Maps. Colony they have only in the Mountain/Cavern the advantage, stay away from then and they are no big thread. On Caustic Valley they have everywere big Problems and Sixsixcat Pilots hate the Map for this. But it is only one Map out of 7 were the Splattapult have real problems. New large Maps are comming, Big Energyweapon balance is already increasing the Fighting Distance... so hard times for Splattapults soon.

"A1 isn't broken take it at range and/or shoot at the ears"
"You're much better off focusing on the CT and core it that's faster. Stupid [fill in insult here]"
Last time I checked CT HP > Arm HP plus a good pilot will turn away his torso anyways so you hit the ears thus it's better to aim at the ears right away, safe him the hassle and get rid of that firepower that is oh so out of balance, you can then let him wander off and worry about the kill later knowing he won't be harming anyone anymore.
"You can't fight A1 at range, there's something called cover and they super human fast."
All I say to this is, again, scouting. Not bringing a scout -> limits situational awarenes -> negativly biases decision making + gives enemy moments of suprise. Of course the scout does not remove the cover, but maybe it tells you where to wait for that A1 to come out of cover.
Maybe coming next:
"You say scouting is a solution for everything? UMADBRO???"
Not everything but for most things. Of course it makes no sense if your team mates aren't interested in your findings and prefer to just keep acting like "I hear nothing, I see nothing, bring me something to shoot at." and then later on cry "waaaah, waaaaah, waaaah, something shot me in the back coming close up from cover, nerf it!!!"

The Catapult A-1 has been the center of rage and OMGOP posts several times during Open Beta, with SSRM and SRMS. I dont think the problem are the weapon themselves, but rather the combination of Firepower, Resilence and high mobility that pushes the A-1 beyond other mechs. (280° angle of fire, 86 km/h, Jumpjetting 90 damge Alpha!)
I think a simple solution would be to reduce engine ratings and disable Jump Jet capability for the chassis (just for the A-1), or alternatively reduce torso twist ...Why? because that way you can outrun or outmanouver them. Having different specifications for variants is something that happen (Stalker 3-F, Cataphract 4x, Ravens 2x, 4x) so i dont see why this would be an inconvenience, and it certainly.
How do you feel about them?
I thought this was going to be a thread about the A1 being broken, not OP...
OK Kidding aside, they are powerful short range builds deserving of respect.
