Can't you really do anything to improve latency for us SEA players? Like allow connections from proxy services like WTFast, Battleping etc... so that we can have atleast a stable connection? I know latency related to distance can't be helped at all but the stability....

yes, yes, Drivers wouldn't make difference because even the "Flash"(aka Scaleform GFx) UI in the game is running slow which has nothing to do with the 3D rendering!...

I'd run 3dmark Vantage benchmark program (not the DX11 version) and compare where your PC stands compared to others. If yours is in the middle or high end, then it may be that your particular setup isn't what MWO was optimized for. If its on the low end, then it could be a config or hardware issue of some sort. When I had a system on the low end of the benchmarks for my rig at the time, it was a hardware issue.

It's only this game and it's the game client as it's only using 20-30% of my total cpu....
P.S. I never had any issues before this recent patch and all my other games work flawlessly.

- How had the patch generally affected your performance?
- Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
- What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
(the only change between patches was the turning down of the resolution)
- Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
as game starts it is about 20-25 fps (from my experience)
as soon as fighting begins it is around 10-18 fps
before this patch, fps was slightly worse...but not much
- System specs (You can include them in a [spoiler] [ /spoiler])
4096MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M (mwo is forced to use the nvidia card)
- Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location

-How had the patch generally affected your performance?
The two of us with dual-core systems have seen their fps go from 15 fps in December to around 45fps with the latest patch. *My* system has dropped from 55 fps to 45 fps with the latest patch.
-Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
No (mine), startup, empty map, firefight, they're all ~45 fps.
-What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
Absolute minimum, AA off, V-sync off. No change since the last patch.
-Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
As above, ingame fps has improved to 45 fps for the dual core systems and dropped to 45 fps on my system. My system has ~85 fps in the menu.
-System specs: improved systems (aprox)
Athlon 2 X2
Radeon 4890
Pentium g series (aka 2-core i3)
GeForce 560
-System specs: slower system
Phenom II x4 940
Radeon 4870
Ram 8GB
-Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location
Slower system only:
5m down/768k up ADSL2
ping ~80ms
Instinct says that the recent changes to improve dual-core hurt systems with more cores. Still, iIf I had to chose between the two, I'd keep the current engine as my framerate is still usable and my friends have much more fun.

Only minor issue I've had is being randomly dropped from battle back into the Mwo lobby. It's been happening a bit more lately than it used to, now about 3-5 times a day.. Otherwise very enjoyable patch.
