Indecision drove me onwards. Always looking for what made me happiest. That, and in RPGs I tend to favour Jack-of-all-trades, Master of none characters. I like utility.
If you've found the mechs you really enjoy in the 15, then so be it, way to go.
In the end it is about fun maximisation, not skills, KDR, win/loss. Some of us just define fun a little differently in MWO.

Agreed.
However, it is now a Beta game with no more wipes of XP and mechs owned. So, longer term goals with respect to these are now doable.
On the other hand, I will be greatful for the next stat wipe.

1. Go outside.
2. Purchase a better, more fleshed out game which doesn't rely on idiotic upgrades and pilot advancements to keep things fresh.
If MWO wasn't a F2P closed island then you'd have your choice of tons of custom, user-created maps which offer hundreds of hours of fresh gameplay... But it is a F2P death island and you WILL play those same ******* four maps over and over and over and over.

I also got bored customizing min/max Mechs and instead make variants of Mechs that don't exist in the game, using similar weapons, 'tro' loadouts, etc., or I just play current variants in their default config just for a challenge (except for any Mech with terribad useless MG's, Flamers, or NARCs). What is reasonably sad is that SHS default configs approach 'decent' if Elite is unlocked for the 2x Standard modifier. Same goes for Speed Tweak just to get close to actual default TRO speed.

I had a job when I bought the Legendary Founders.
Fortnight later, job went pooft!
For various reasons, I can't drive, never have been able to. Makes finding a job tougher. I look, I live in hope, but if you're over 40, the market out there is tough.
Please note I am in Australia, so employment situation here is different to the USA. Less fulltime out there, more part-time.
It is not much better here in the States I wish is was for SO many reasons.

Yeah, I have Mr Urbie, my cockpit companion. Bought him, because any mechwarrior worth his crust has an Urbanmech of some kind.
Doing a bit of playing everything right now. Finding holes, tinkering, tweaking.
When I build mechs, I also like them to be tabletop playable. Just because this is a computer game adaptation doesn't mean we have to go down the same ultra-optimised builds route of other games. I avoid ballistics due to latency in many cases. Main aim is to get builds that are fun to play and not push-button warrior. I don't want to get into LOL builds though.
I like the Spider, purely as a fun mech, that can be useful.

I know.
Problem is I'd be a huge danger to others on the road (and moreso to myself)
I take the responsible attitude, and just don't drive.

(I got rammed on the autobahn though, but my VW Bus was tougher than the rammer's ford fiesta and he, his cat and me and my passengers survived uninjured.)
Anyway, point is, try to get it done, the anxiety starts to fade after a while.

gamers can do allmost everything
my girlfriend/ wife complained that all that gaming will never lead me to anything so she dared me to try somthing that had nothing to do with runnig around and shoot stuff or collect recources or what the hell
anything with gaming
something real !
so when the director of the local theatre asked me to play the" jedermann" i said Yes
( it was late and i was drunk )
just to show me and her that i could do something else.
i never was on stage before nor had any other experiances in that direction.
6 month of rehersals and 60 pages of text ( nobody told me that it was that much ) later
i stood on stage !
if someone had told me that i would dare to do that, half a year earlyer ,i simply would have laughed at him
it starts at 4:16
im the guy with the chick

Fight ur Fears
IT CAN BE DONE !
