Have a little faith!
Man you must have great Patience, good for you. But i think the rest of us (99% of members) are grinding our teeth about the lack of info.
And didnt anyone ever tell you that telling others to clam down only makes them go more crazy
It really does.
Im sure they will support it, its not that hard to implement.

Down in Australia we all know that we're getting the big middle finger and will have to lag horribly on NA servers forever and ever.

*Sits down next to him and starts grinding his teeth anxiously*
Just wait after E3. Pretty sure they'll be giving out some information then. Propably got their Hands full with E3, Closed Beta and the Razer thing.

But yeah, the deadline for the packages approaches and comms are still down. Don't make us sing 'why are we waiting' at you...

I for one would be very happy with that as it would allow me to play with the best lag possible in euro servers for random pugs but it would also let me drop with some of the friends i have made around the world within the mechwarrior universe and vice versa.
I would love to be able to play against or with all of the chaps back in mercs when i dropped in the NBT league.....the likes of BAZZ BASHEM™ (god bless you for enduring aussie lag to the americas) , Hall (as long as he doesnt TK me much ;P ), Beretta ( twin CB death bunny rush of doom ftw ), Rag (old 1IC before we lost contact)...and all the old blue star irregulars, Taurian Conc, Capcon, the SLDF and even the friends i made playing against...theres too many people that i feel would miss out if this couldn't happen and i am sure that i am not the only one that carries this sentiment.
Think i might start a forum petition to show the piranha lads how much we need this....
Respect and Regards,
St1x

Don't worry, the EU 2012 Football tourney will get this pecking order squared away.

Where are the servers located in North America? I have absolutely no problem playing on East Coast servers. The overwhelming majority of EC servers I can connect to with ~100ms ping (roundtrip) from Europe.
If the NA servers happen to indeed be located there I'd gladly buy my founders pack the second they're available, even without the certainty of knowing I can migrate to EU servers later. Hell, I'd still buy a founders pack if they announced you wont be able to migrate.
I'd murder for the IP of one of the game / beta servers so I can run a few tests to see what my connection would be like.

This would indeed be nice.
Then the individual player could choose where to play based on what their ping was and if they have a specific reason to play on the servers of another region(friends, clans, timezone, etc).
I support the fight of both the European and Aussi/Oceanic community to get their own servers.
