I'm just waiting for CMO to tell me what to do, as Shade knows he is in no command position, and therefore, understands that if he goes ahead with his idea, without clearing it with the CO, XO, someone in charge, crap rolls downhill.

There's no hurry...we're spread out from one end of the globe to the other. At best, it takes 24 hrs for everyone to read and "tag in".

well, it's out there anyway. we really have to await Janitor telling us that they are still within our ability to encircle... I'm honestly not sure what we should expect... if they are already moving across our path from right to left, and we move left while Havok Lance moves right... that will make a nice 4v3 while they are stumbling onto whatever raised the signal on the right. Even if there is nothing there, right now I have to suspect we four are going to wind up alone in a scap with that enemy lance.

I'll be waiting for Janitor's posts where he opens up on the badguys. His Wolfhound can outrun and outrange mine.

i actually wrote myself out of the story until the enemy lance breaks or gets taken out. (the chameleon and cicada have a good chance of escaping. Havok, spokes, tog, and shepard can keep up with the chameleon, while only tog can keep up with the cicada)

I like how this Chameleon has everybody nervous.

it probably has an experimental mech size naval ppc that does 70 damage mounted in its left toe.

also, i want to kneecap one of them with my bat. particularly that cicada.

That'd really be no fair. An enemy using a NPPC and I can't even have a regular one.

@Dal10 SHHH!! Dont give him any ideas!

Also loving that Chameleon, nothing makes a scout more nervous than a strage reading on something that should be harmless!

Part of me suspects it could be an Enfield.

They look remarkably similar, and the Enfield has only just come out, so probably isn't in most data banks yet. The only question would be "What on Earth Kharkand is one doing all the way out here and not in the Lyran standing army?"

Personally I think the Chameleon is a good mech. I respect anything that moves that fast.

As for the Enfield ain't it pretty much an Enforcer that doesn't jump?

a commander would pilot something like a brand new mech design. however it would not pose too much more danger to us than a chameleon, having the same armament plus an ac/10. though against the lightness of our designs that would still be dangerous.
