So, this weekend I was in a match where I was the last one left on my team versus five on the other team. They knew where I was and I knew I was going to die, but I don't just lie down for anyone. So, knowing I had (at best) three attacks in me before I was obliterated, I fought back.

Pressing "R" quickly found a soft target. Some Slpat Cat with his ears knocked off, no armor, and red internals decided to mosey in with his crowd of thugs - (because that's what someone says when on the losing side of 5v1, right?). When he saw what I was doing he did stop and start to back up, but I had already I decided to take him out with me (or die trying). I ran into his gaggle of friends - (I never made it through them) - and killed him about 0.5 seconds before I died.

He got mad and called me a j e w. Fun times. Move along ...

Rude words and slurs do not bother me just by their general use, it is when people are deliberately insulting to another player (especially new ones) that annoys me. Or being unjustifiably smug like the last day. Both groups take different routes to base rush but one team gets there a little quicker so someone calls the losing team idiots. What for using the exact same tactic as you? what an ignorant dumbass. That sort of stuff ****** me off.

Actual I don't think we're trying to get people to use "nice language" Mostly i'd be happy if they stopped unnecessarily vomiting it in to chat during games in violation of the TOS they agreed to. Past that it doesn't affect me one whit if they stew in their filth outside the game,hell if you listen to me during half the matches I play It'd sound like one long *BLEEEEEEEEEEEEP* the major difference is that there is no reason to actual inflict that on anyone else... except my poor Corps mates when i forgot i was holding the ptt button.

That does not upset me. I just wanted to point out to him that applying rage over a bad connection is stupid. It goes both ways since the person lagging will also want to have a connection without lags.

I was telling them that I approve that they hire professionals - that implies that they need professionals to get the job done they themselves cannot get done. I want this game to succeed because else noone will touch the IP for another 10 years but I do not believe that PGI can do it - given how little they achieved since 2009. (Compared to what is needed for this to become a game) You would know that if you had read more than one post...
